It's been a while since we've done one of these and we've had some pretty well known people die so far in 2016. Anybody interested in doing one? Rules: You get points based on the age of the person you select should they die, for example Charlie Sheen is 50 years old, you would subtract 50 from 100 and that leaves you with 50 points. Martin Sheen is 75, you would subtract 75 from 100 and that leaves you with 25. The person selected must be a celebrity, politician or athlete. No terrorists, no people on death row and no animals. There would be a panel of myself and another 2 posters who were interested in being an admin to determine whether or not the selected person qualifies as a celebrity. For example nobody knows who the drummer of some crappy band is but everyone knows who the drummer of Def Leppard is. Obviously these things are subjective which is why I would have 2 other well known posters to help judge. You will get 5 picks and the pool will end on January 1, 2017 There would be a snake draft and you will have 10 hours from the time the last pick is made. Should you miss your pick you will have to wait until the end of the round to pick and should you miss twice you will be removed and your picks will be forfeited and cannot be picked up by any other players. Any other suggestions would be awesome.... think something like this makes for a more interesting time between today and the time FA and the draft.

Not for nothing boss, but wouldn't it be easier to just pick 3. First one who picks a dead wins. A year is a long time... Leave it open for submissions for a week, start over when there is a winner.
That won't work for me, I have my big white dry erase board set up in the living room. Been ranking my prospects and am ready to go. My wife won't go for me leaving it set up all year so we need to draft a full roster of stiffs, kind of like what Idzik did. After the draft there is not much to do until one kicks, then it is total the points, update the leader board. I think it is much better to go all in for a full year contest.
