Really. How anyone listens to that schmuck is beyond me. And Esiason is an arrogant boor. They suck. I could care less where those two end up. They're actually worse than fat boy. The whole thing sucks. Michael Kay needs to be bitch slapped too. Fukn blow hard
The fact that it isnt super obvious who LaGreca is a fan of, makes him the best in my mind. He hates the Yankees but he is usually pretty impartial when it comes to discussing them. Him and Ruocco are the only guys on ESPN I can take as far as the Jets are concerned. Rothenburg and Kay are brutal. I like Hahn and DiPietro now, they usually arent super over the top.
Lagreca and Kay have mediocre sports knowledge and their banter and outrage is so forced it comes off as awkward to me. Listening to The Kay show is like listening to two 14 year old's argue while listening to Francesser is like listening to your Narc grandfather rant and rave. Both suck but at least grandpa has some knowledge and some interesting old stories. I do enjoy that Lagreca talks hockey tho.
LaGreca is a Giants fan, and early on when he first started covering the Jets he couldn't help himself and betrayed that all the time. It was a major turn off to me. Turned him off years ago, unless I'm listening to the pre and post game on the radio. The little i've heard from him since seems like he corrected that. But early on it was sickening. I hate Kay so it's irrelevent. I avoid him like the plague, lol
Sports Talk radio in general is outdated. Simply click on your Podcast app search for Jets and you will get half a dozen fan podcasts with zero commercial interruption that are 10x more informative than WFAN or ESPN. Turn on the Jets in particular has a very professional sounding podcast. If you want to hear Francesas opening rant or Kay's interview with Bowles you can also listen to just those segments.
It's a weird show. One guy actually think it's a sports show while the other guy thinks it's the Z morning Zoo. Carton can be funny but not funny enough to listen to on a regular basis. When Boomer tries to be funny it's just awkward. I personally think it's a bad show, but obviously I'm in the minority because it's quite popular.
That's sounds like a nice alternative, and will look into it. Thank you. However, other than following the local teams coverage on local TV, I've turned it all off otherwise. Radio, National TV shows, everything. I'm quite happy I did too. That takes nothing away from my enjoyment of games or does it take anything away from me coming to my own conclusions and opinions from just watching the games, and watching what the participants say themselves in pressers and conference calls. Most of the talking heads out there have nothing to say that interests me, or that I find informative

haha thats funny, i turned fan on for a couple minutes and he sounded particularly salty and 2 different guys pranked him in the 5 minutes i was listening.
my hope here is that this is the reason why people were trolling him today and he got enough calls that he actually talked about it... picture francesser talking about having a big cock so people will stop calling him about it.
