The Steelers made Denver's D look silly and put up big numbers in the regular season when they weren't down their #1 WR and RB. I don't see why the Pats can't.

And the Steelers were the only team that did that.

Out of 16 games, Pitt was the only team that had more than 300 yards of offense against them. Pitt had their number.

Do you just make up stats to support your argument?

Pitt was most definitely not the only team that had more than 300 yards of offense against Denver this year. Happened 8 times (and two other times were within 5 yards).

When is Tom and Giselle gonna answer for the attempted murder swept under the rug in Brazil?

Bronco nation isn't the only fan base nervous about the NEP's success this season. I'm sure you will all come up with ways to rationalize why his accomplishments mean nothing.

It's not hard when the team has been punished twice for cheating. The ongoing reports on shenanigans at Gillette. The weird referee calls that surround this team (admittedly they go both ways but far more in NE's favor). But the number one for me is the fact that all Roger needed to do was release the tapes all the way back to spygate and this is an entirely different conversation. The fact he destroyed them leads any reasonable person to believe what was on those tapes was so damaging the league would take a huge hit if they got out. not to mention the friendship between Kraft and Roger which amplifies any perceived favoritism towards the Pats by the league. The fact that the league finally puts its foot down and says enough and Tommy cries to federal court like a spoiled brat because he doesn't like being told no. That's ignoring the fact Sean Peyton lost a year to bounty gate and BB was never even mentioned as a possibility to be punished for the deflation thing. What happened to "ignorance is not an excuse"?

His accomplishments haven't been diminshed. To be the second greatest QB of this generation and a distant third behind the GOATS of the last fifteen years in Peyon and Rodgers, is nothing to be ashamed of.

My sweet fuck would I ever love for Peyton to move to 3-2 vs Brady in the playoffs for trolling purposes, etc but I'm expecting a 44-10 NE win.

    Hope I'm wrong!

I didnt realize it was in Denver. If it was in NE, I thought the Pats would have won by double digits.

A little less clear now. I still wouldnt be surprised if they win big. I dont see Denver putting up many points at all.

In Foxborough it would be a shit kicking but in Denver i really think this will be close. The crowd noise and that defense will step up and i see Manning going to extreme lengths to play to the best of his abilities. There is no way Peyton isn't thinking about his legacy. He somehow wins in San Fran in Feb and he is the GOAT. game can obviously go either way but i see this being very close and coming down to the final minutes.

it's harder to cheat away from Foxboro, which is why they haven't had the same playoff success on the road.

fwiw, Peyton is already up there with Montana and Unitas imo.. i wouldn't put Br*dy in the top 10 due to the cheating, the system, and being a pussy. this game doesn't move the needle for either player in any direction.

This game leads to SB50, Peyton wins that and he is the GOAT hands down.

I think either NFC team will destroy either AFC team this year. So the AFC will probably win.

either way I plan on making a thread on monday morning immediately after the SB proclaiming the winning QB the greatest QB ever no matter what. Sounds idiotic, I know, but there is a precedent here on this website. Get ready for "Carson Palmer: Greatest QB Ever"

I agree with your sentiments towards some of the posters on this website but with everything Peyton has done, walking into the sunset as the only QB to lead two franchises to a title would be the cherry on top. I also fear that a fifth title for Brady (arguably in a year under elevated scrutiny) would do a lot to further his argument for GOAT.
