As long as Holtby maintains his current level they will be tough to beat. I think if the Habs get Price back they will be the East reps. Also the Wings could be a sneaky choice with their young core and as long as they stay away from Jimmy Howard in goal. Its completely wide open though , just the way I like it.
He really is. I was a big Joel Ward fan. He is a X-Factor type too. The Caps decided to sign Williams instead. Clearly they made the right move as he has been great so far. Hopefully in the playoffs too. I don't blame you. As a Capitals fan, I am more worried than anyone else. I already watched them win a President's Trophy in 2010 and not make it out of the first round. To be fair, this team is light years ahead of that one, though. Wow, those odds freak me out.
In the West it's going to come down to Chicago and LA. MAYBE St Louis or Nasvhille. They both can't seem to get over the hump though. I simply can't trust the Stars defense/goaltending. Caps look especially strong in the East mainly because of their defense. If Price gets healthy and returns to form Montreal could threaten and even Tampa as they've been playing better lately. Panthers are still too young I fear.
Forget what I said about Nashville. Artemi Panarin is a stud. Kings vs Stars right now...let's see how Seguin does against Kopitar. Dallas draws first blood
Agreed...but so does Tyler Toffoli. These guys are getting it done. Tarasenko too. Dylan Larkin? Future of the NHL is bright
Caps won 6-3 in Columbus tonight. Every time I see the Bluejackets play, they seem like a decent team to me. They are better than their record.
If all goes as planned they will win the lottery and take Matthews first overall. Then him and Sonny Milano can restore Columbus to...well, something resembling a professional team
This was some fight Brian McGrattan gets knocked out cold and the stupid fans are cheering, friggin morons
That start to the season, all that hype and then a balloon popped. But don't worry I trust the team will rebound from here on out!
I have to say the Ducks. They have talent, I can't understand why they're so bad. Gibson has been great, too. They just can't score for some reason. Ducks not only are last in the NHL in scoring (which is insane, considering some of the teams ahead of them have little offensive talent), they're a full 12 goals behind Philly and 17 goals behind the Devils. Nashville also belongs on the list. After that, Montreal, but maybe they'll play better when Price returns. Montreal started the season shot out of a cannon. They were all the rage when then season started. The Pacioretty line was the top line in the league. That didn't last long.
Cant put Nashville in that...yeah they were great last year and Ribiero had a big year but they dont have superstars like some of these other teams
