Sounds like sour grapes about fantasy land outcomes. You have to win the games on the field ....our teams did not
Whenever I'm betting an ugly home underdog, I wait, but sometimes it does backfire. It all depends on when the big bets comes in from the "sharps" or "wise guys". There will be some large bets on Denver to offset all the public money on New England, that's a given. It's all about timing the market.
I agree, no way Fitz would have had as much success throwing it as Roethlisberger. He certainly would have sprinkled in a turnover or two, and struggled against that great Broncos D. But conversely, I think our D forces a turnover or two out of Peyton, some of those passes were seriously fluttering. I think it would have been a toss-up game, but I guess we will never know. Unfortunately for us, the Pats look better than the Broncos do at the moment, everything suddenly clicked for them against the Chiefs. Based on how they played down the stretch, I had kind of counted the Pats out as a team that could win the SB, but now am genuinely concerned because the top NFC teams have shown some vulnerabilities.
I like that Brady is on the road, but I don't like Manning at all. His ball is a dead duck these days, although I did see him over throw Demaryous Thomas once against Pitt...which was sort of impressive (ball must have caught a wind current). Denver Defense and special teams will have to play lights out...sucks that either Manning or Brady will be back in a Super Bowl...But would obviously rather see Manning. I think this is Manning's last season. I think he retires at the end of this ride. He is toast...even the HGH isn't working.
Bill Simmons, Pats homer extraordinaire, said on his podcast that Amendola trying to injure the KC player is absolutely indefensible and he doesn't want to talk about it as a result.
he should have been thrown out of the game for that shit. nfl is is worried about player safety? that was on the same level as when the guy on carolina laid out the guy on tampa bay after a fair catch (i think it was carolina hitting tampa bay player)
Bill disagrees: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...mendoolas-contentious-hit-it-was-a-legal-play I'll be interested to see if he draws a fine or if it truly was a legal hit. Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts were clueless on that play.
how surprising that Belichick feels that way. The cheater thinks a cheap shot is a clean, legal play. this is shocking
It's funny when the jerkoffs show up here to defend their piece of shit franchise. And use the head piece of shit as a character witness. _
I'm still unsure about this whole "smoking is bad" thing myself. I am interested in seeing what the CEO of Phillip Morris USA has to say on the matter.
Obviously Belichick says that, he (or someone on the staff) probably told Amendola to do it. You think he's going to say it was dirty? Amendola also thinks it was clean, so obviously there's nothing wrong with it. Pretty much no one would claim that was a clean hit, except members of the Patriots and a few extreme Pats homers. Bill Simmons defends the Patriots about everything (including the illegal cameras and deflating footballs), yet he wouldn't defend Amendola here.
so true if he says it's ok then obviously the media and the doctors are wrong Same goes for heroin and cocaine. I asked the dealer on the corner and he said they're fine.
