The 'original' Hail Mary was a playoff one (Staubach against the Vikings in 1975...I think he even coined the phrase himself or it got coined after that game)
http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl-news/4691550-danny-amendola-hit-patriots-chiefs-will-appeal-fine dirty POS should be suspended, not fined NFL won't suspend, though deliberate attempt to injure, not part of the game
What a game and performance by Fitz and Rodgers. Love both players...exciting stuff...crazy final 2 drives
Ahhh the completely biased world of a Patriot fan, blocking? He led with his fucking helmet and went for the facemask of the player.
I really don't understand all the Packer hate on this board, the only team in pro sports where the fans technically own the team. I pay taxes in Wisconsin, so aren't I basically part owner by force? Haha. Honestly though, IDK what there is to hate about the Packers. They run the team the way it should be ran, which is thru the draft, and smart with who to keep, and who to let go. Also, they're in the NFC. The Packers have nothing in relation to the Jets, so why would any Jets fan care? I guess people hate teams that win. Hating the Patriots for winning I get, but a random team in a separate conference? That seems like sour grapes to me. Makes no sense to me.. but there it is..another ridiculous loss in the playoffs by GB. What else is new? In closing, I do really hope the Cardinals win the whole thing. They deserve it imo.
I understand That. I realized yesterday that the same 4 teams have hosted the AFC championship game since 2002. Isn't that insane?
The NFL's never cracked down on receivers that make illegal blocks, Hines Ward was celebrated for it.
I don't get it man, Packers are a respectable franchise with respectable fans. Like you said they do things the right way and Rodgers doesn't need to know defensive signals that have been illegally videotaped or deflated footballs to win games with the nobodies he is throwing to.
I like the Packers. They are a model franchise and you have to love how they do business in terms of developing players. Great players throughout history and they aren't a dirty team like the Steelers, Raiders or Patriots. Always went about their business the right way. If the Jets didn't exist, I think I would be a Packers fan.
