This entire thing comes down to if he is already in stage one of the substance program. Richardson sure as hell is and will get his day in kangaroo court. From the sounds of it, Jones has a bigger problem on his hands then the Pats are making of it but far less of one then us haters are building it up to be.
I heard that Cris Carter speculated PCP (based on his extensive experience), but seen nothing definitive. Neither have I seen other than speculation about synthetic marijuana. But I certainly have to believe SOMETHING was involved ( I mean, who the hell walks down to the Police station half-naked on a Sunday morning if they ain't tripping!).
oh thats just an armpiece he doesnt have to share his fortune with when he croaks? well hopefully she is getting paid well for sucking wrinkly old balls. or does he get a new one every few months? i dont know, i dont pay that much attention to that sham of a man.
Only the Pats can have their coach have a mysterious black eye and their best defensive player be so whacked out on drugs he needs to be hospitalized and it all be swept under the rug....so annoying, please let them get stomped today!
If a player showed up whacked out in cocaine or crack or PCP I would think the league would immediately drug test him. I guess showing up whacked out and shirtless on your knees with your hands behind your head in the universal sign of "I'm giving my self up to authorities" at 7 am at the back door of a local police station doesn't count. _
I think what's more annoying to me is that the media just buried both stories...people went bat shit crazy when Edwards got a DWI a few years ago and treated him like OJ Simpson.
Wow thats like please arrest me You would think a team mate would cover for this guy instead they let him walk? Police in Boston probably had big money on the game so they clean it all up...dont think the dude broke any laws anyway. This should be a League issue imo I guess the NFL figured ratings more important at the moment so let him play
Neither is earth shattering news, so maybe it is best we get spared the mundane details about both of these rather insignificant occurrences. Hard to believe, but there are more pressing concerns out there which may be a bit more deserving of attention.
If they really were the "classiest organization in all of sports" he wouldn't be in uniform. The guy showed absolutely no focus or dedication to his team through his actions, 6 DAYS before a playoff game. You've got guys who are working their asses off all week to make a year's worth of preparation pay off, then you've got a guy whose supposedly the leader of the defense smoking a substance that's been known to cause ridiculous reactions like jumping out of windows after grandeur delusions of the belief the user can fly. He really seems like he's in it to win it.
