I doubt they will ever have to figure out the logistics of someone wanting to do it. I do remember something a few years back about someone spending a huge chunk of money on one of the drawings, nowhere near the amount it would take to buy all the powerball numbers but still a huge chunk. It was back when Lotto here was once a week though so he had more time to have the machines do it and there were only around 46 numbers at the time, I think the jackpot was just over $100M.
Announced an hour ago from Texas Lottery 1. IF no winner tonight, jackpot will jump straight to $2 billion (cash value $1.24 billion). 2. They estimate about 86% of all combinations will be drawn for tonights drawing (Last drawing only had about 65 to 70% of the total combinations drawn...)
I just went to the store for another reason and figured I would wait until tomorrow to cash some other winning tickets I had, wasn't going to wait in a mile long line. Well there was no line, not one person, everyone ran out of money.
