I think he's somewhat been limited because that offense is SO centered on AP. They need to make that offense more diverse. Another weapon and strengthen the line and they'll be a consistent winner in this league. He played well enough to be in the second round, can't fault him for that game. 71% comp even with the short passing game was exactly what they needed in those conditions. AP holds onto the ball or Walsh hits a chip shot and he's playing next Sunday. I'd take him. _
Can't really fix that low delivery that gets batted down at the line though. I agree that they need a better weapon for bigger downfield plays. Wallace isn't cutting it. They should have used Mckinnon more. AP wasn't doing anything
Lol... I can't watch the pre and post games anymore. Don't watch. But what's on tv otherwise is worse...holy shit If it wasn't for local sports I'd drop cable tv in a heart beat
I've been sitting here cracking up and feeling guilty about it. That poor guy is never going to live this down. FBI might have to put this guy in the witness protection. If he was our kicking I'd feel very differently, but right now I just feel terrible for Walsh. The first thing that entered my mind was Ace Ventura, but the laces shouldn't matter when it's that close.
Just got back from the city... Blair Walsh may actually likely be done in Minnesota. He'll NEVER live this one down. Reminds me of when we had Doug Brien and he botched that easy kick back in 2004.
This was a way easier kick than Brien's was, even with the cold. And the holder has to take a lot of blame - not spinning the ball once, okay, but to have the laces wrong twice is just not acceptable.
Pack should just not run the ball at all today. Lacy stinks and Rodgers sell out the run worse than any QB I can remember. Does GB ever play action?
