Um, I guess that counts as a post on religion. .... but apparently God wasn't amused. He must be a Rex fan as well.
It would be disgusting if it said 231 children AT MOST, but it says AT LEAST. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Followed by the pieces of shit that hide them, protect them, shuttle them around from parish to parish allowing them to continue their predatory ways. _
Check out the movie Spotlight...pretty good flick about reporters from the Boston Globe who exposed the cover up of sexual abuse by the Roman Catholic Church.
We've been talking about it for pages in this thread. The naive sheep think it's a fictional story. _
So basically 90% of the Catholic church? The other 10%? Those are the actually pedos. Burn the church down to the ground! (Figuratively.)
The Church is right about everything. Except when they are wrong and are forced to change their views to make it seem like they were right all along. The weak minded believe everything the Church teaches because they can't think for themselves. God put those dinosaur bones in the earth's crust 6000 years ago when he created the universe. You know, to keep us guessing. _
fake? who are you to imply such a query? this whole thread knows this planet is 6000 years old and Jesus used to ride around on a T-Rex, his followers have since traded in those T-Rex's for tricked out private Jets. *- See Benny Hinn, joel Osteen and all the other frauds
Nicki Minaj: Abortion I Had as a Teenager “Has Haunted Me All My Life” http://www.lifenews.com/2014/12/31/...had-as-a-teenager-has-haunted-me-all-my-life/
What exactly is the point of this? if anything the story is proof that legal abortion is a good thing. The life story of Nicki Minaj would be very different if she was a poverty stricken 15 year old single mother living in Queens. She'd probably be a poverty stricken 33 year old single mother living in Queens today. Life likely would've been rough for both her and her offspring. Whereas today she is obviously in a much better place and any offspring she will have will also be. Thats not only better for her/them, but all of us... I'm guessing the point of the story is to highlight that the decision has haunted her? Well, duh. That decision haunts everyone. Virtually everyone who has an abortion deals with the heavy weight of the decision often for a lifetime. Even the strongest proponents of a woman's right to choose recognize it is never an easy decision, a difficult one with a lot of emotional gravity.
My wife had stem cell transplant treatment with fetal stem cells harvested from aborted fetuses in Eastern Europe. Abortion sucks for everyone involved, the aborted fetus likely the most of all. But some good can come of it. I don't need the Catholic Church telling me I can't have a loved one afford themselves that treatment. _
She had alternatives. She could have had the baby and given her up for adoption. There are a lot of married couples who cannot have children of their own, who would love to adopt her child and provide a good home for her. And who's to say that if she kept her baby things would not have gone well for her? She might have found that she could be a great mother after all (there are a lot of supports for mothers and their children today)....nobody has a crystal ball to predict their future. If she had her baby, there is a good chance both of them would be happy today. By choosing to abort, she is guaranteeing a life of psychological trauma for herself, terrible pain that no amount of therapy can cure, and she has denied her baby a chance at life. ... What if your mother did not want the hassles of parenthood, or thought you would have a bad life, and decided to abort you? Think about that. Of course people should be free to choose, but the choice is made when you decide to hop into bed with someone. Sexual intercourse is an adult decision, with a tremendous amount of responsibility attached to it. There is no such thing as "safe sex", and no form of contraception is completely reliable. Sex is an act that by its very nature is designed to bring new life into the world. It's part of the reproductive system. When you try to artificially thwart that process, you are inviting the consequences. In sexual intercourse, we are cooperating with God in bringing new human beings into the world. Even if you don't believe in God, it's a scientific fact that sexual intercourse is designed, as part of the reproductive system, to lead to new life. So when mature adults make the adult decision to have sex, they are expressing an intimate relationship with each other that may lead to them having a baby together. That is when the choice is made. Once they make the choice to engage in an act designed to bring about new life, they can't turn around after the fact and say "oops, we didn't mean to, we have to kill our baby!". At that point it's too late, and as mature adults, they should resolve to make the best of the set of circumstances they find themselves in, and do their best to provide the best possible life for their baby, whether through adoption or raising the child themselves.
what about wearing rubbers? am I killing babies, or artificially thwarting the process when I use them? how about if I pull out? Should we ban abortion, condoms and bath towels? also- you said sexual intercourse is an adult decision that mature adults make. Nicki Minaj was 15 when she got knocked up...
how about the anti-abortion people who at the same time are totally ok with taking fertility pills and getting pregnant that way? god didnt want them to have children but oh lord its a miracle if the fertility pills helped, thats just fine.
