Wilks stock just plummeted with that broken leg... Nobody will trade a 1st now...

I disagree. Broken legs are nothing. They are much better than a torn ACL, torn achilles, stress fracture in the foot, or some other foot/leg injuries he could have sustained. Wilk ought to bring better than a late 1st round pick. He should bring an early 1st round pick if not multiple picks if several teams want him and get into a bidding war. That's what I'm hoping for. A high 1st and 3rd would be very nice.

    I hope you are right.

I think we would be lucky to get a 2nd + 3rd conditions he plays 14 games

    Me too! :)

A high second and third would be nice, and would probably equal a mid-to-high first round pick.

A broken leg with surgery is a risk. Risk lowers value.

    It is not nothing.

We should be signing him long term and cutting other overpaid players if need be.....Not sure why the Jets strike gold in the draft and then always want to trade their all-pro players when it comes times for a big contract

Rather tag Harrision and trade or let him go if needed....Love Snacks but he is not nearly as important as Wilk.

Snacks will be about 1/3 to 1/2 Wilk price.

    Who are these overpaid players?

Revis has a guaranteed contract, he goes nowhere.

Mangold and Marshall are in the top 5, we can't compete without either of them.

Eric Decker is another guy I would like to keep.

Do we have $10 mil for Wilk? Sure.

After that we have to ask if we really need a $50+ mil defensive line with a hard salary cap.

Careful, some people might actually think you're serious with that.
