It's impossible to make good predictions right now, not only because we don't know what other teams will be like, but we also don't know who will be on the Jets.

All I know is that if fucking Quigley is the starting punter next year, I'm going to flip a fucking shit.

What two of the last three?

    Jets 20-13 in 2014
Steelers 19-6 in 2013 (when they were 0-4 mind you)
    Steelers 27-10 in 2012

So what we split the last 4 my bad. Theyre still not a great team.

Will be tough, but I really hope we are ready to kick the AFC East division ass next year.

Will need to see after draft our record prediction

Why do you think the Ravens will suck next year? They are getting all of their injured players back. They have a QB who has won a SuperBowl. They have a coach who is, IMO, top 5 in this league and on top of that, they are getting a top 10 pick THIS year. They are right back into the mix of a team who can compete in the AFC.

The Rams are scary at home, especially with that young D Line, who will only get better. We are lucky to get Seattle on the road since we know playing their is a nightmare.

Youre joking right? The ravens have been getting worse since they won a super bowl. Seriously they suck and will next season. The Rams??? Give me a break, have you seen them? Whats their record? And dont give me thw excuse they play in the west. Theyre a middling team at best with NO OFFENSE outside Gurley.

Quickly eyeballing it, I say we split the division, the NFC West, and the AFC North, and no reason we can't win at least one of KC/IND...put me down for a preliminary, way-too-early-to-predict-anything-accurately, 8-8.

Going out west twice doesnt sound fun.

Also at KC and PIT will be tough.

St Louis and Cleveland are the only 2 most likely wins.

Nice catch. I missed that one.

They are a middle of the pack team. What are we? That game is a 50-50 game IMO. Dolphns and Bills are all 50-50. KC and Indy are 50-50. St Louis is 50-50. I doubt we win both vs Arizona and Seattle. I doubt we win both vs New England. That schedule is tough man.

Better than a middle of pack team. We can easily win that game.

Then we have different opinions of the team. I think we are middle of the pack. A few plays this year go the other way we are 8-8 a few plays in our favor we go 11 and 5 or 12 and 4. We are a middle of the pack team, just like a lot of teams. I'm sure there are some plays that could have the Jills at 10-6 instead of 8-8

Such an irrelevant topic. It's impossible to tell how hard a schedule is until you're like 6 games into a season.

No we def are better than an 8-8 team and i expect we will continue to build. Regardless of whether we made the playoffs or not this was still a good team and a good season. I dont deal im what ifs, its what happened that matters. A loss is a loss and a win is a win.

Agreed on your last sentence. I just think you have to take a look at each game. Some plays bounce your way, some don't. Maybe next year Frank Gore doesn't fumble in week 2 going into the endzone. I just think we are middle of the pack team. I don't think we are an elite team where we can start marking off wins vs other middle of the pack teams. Did I think we could beat anyone on any given sunday this past season, absolutely.

I also don't really think we are building anything. We have a plethora of veterans who are ready to win now. We don't have a Derek Carr --> Amari Cooper connection that we overachieved with and can look forward to that. I think we maxed out with what we have and missed a tremendous opportunity this year.

I agree we arent elite, but this is a very good team relatively speaking. I think talent around the NFL in general has diminished. I think well get a youth movement to slowly replace vets. Mauldin takes ovet for pace i think. I think the toughest vets to replace next season will be LB & OL. i think if we improve those areas next season, this teams in better shape by simply returning the other starters.
