It was a completely different team after free agency alone.

We were never gonna win the SB, but if we went 4-12 with this talent, Bowles would be one and done.

Not enough time to jell KW. All these new players have only been together one season. We have names, talent, but no common experiences as a unit except this season.

Hoping next year this team will come out the gate hungry, with some new faces thrown in the mix. I wholeheartedly agree with a team having to jell.

For instance, just look at the Texans today. One of their players got hurt and carted off today, and the ENTIRE team came over to his side. I've never seen that before.

well, I just think that for periods 2 and 3, particularly, with the wind against them, our DBs should have lined up in their nostrils. That is what I mean by cautious. Too much cushion.

The suck of it is that there are only so many opportunities a team has to make a run, and the Jets wasted this chance. After last weeks Pats win and the way the offense was clicking, it was easy to dream that this Jets team could get hot and go on some magical run to the Super Bowl. But it was fools gold. The five game run the Jets had was against some really bad teams, and a beaten up Pats team.

The Jets showed today they aren't championship caliber because too many of their veterans didn't show up. Revis is not a team leader. He is a mercenary. He plays Watkins soft and gives up several critical third down conversions. Then leaves after the game without speaking to reporters? What kind of garbage is that? Brick was badly beaten on Fitz' second INT. If Darius doesn't hit Fitz, that could have been a long completion to Marshall. Cromartie... Forget about it. Richardson, what a brain fart of a neutral zone infraction.

Its interesting to think back to the beginning of year projections compared to how the team shook out. The Jets were projected to be an elite defense, a top 5 defense. A huge cap number dedicated to the defense as they spared no expense in free agency. On reflection, they were a good defense, particularly against the run but not elite and certainly underperforming their payroll. Not being able to get off the field against a lousy Bills team is a bad omen. I see major changes ahead.

Offense... Who would have predicted that Fitz, Marshal and Decker would break Jets passing yardage and TD percentages? NOONE. So despite the picks thrown today, I think you need to say the Jets got value from these guys this year and its something to build on. On the other hand, the rushing offense, which was supposed to be very good was only run of the mill. Time to upgrade at the RB position and at OL.

Special Teams. Fire the coach. They cost the Jets games this year.
