we would need to trade up for Myles Jack, otherwise it's unrealistic for him to be in any Jets mock draft.

Yeah, knee injury. I don't think that will hurt his stock enough for him to slide. He's a top 15 pick.

The other top potential ILB (Jaylon Smith) also hurt his knee this weekend, which makes Jack look better comparison and more likely to go higher since, afaik, he should be healthy before Smith is.

Thanks everyone for the comments now that we know our slot officially it'll be much easier to spot and make future mocks from this point on. Clearly speaking from a draft standpoint the loss today was a "good thing" idk about u guys but not even speaking from the schedule or how weak/strong it was, this team isn't that very good. Because of what happened today, we needed a win and simply couldn't have gotten it done. We're ok solid on offense and defense, great d line but everywhere else were just ok. I see flaws all across the board, last year was a pretty good draft, let's improve on the teams sudden success and make it legitimate.

if the jets do not trade down.then they will pick shilique Calhoun o.l.b. He fits the need for the jets.

If we're going to fantasize about Jack falling to #20, why stop there?

    Here's my mock:
    1st Round: Myles Jack
    2nd Round: Laremy Tunsil
    3rd Round: Ezekiel Elliott
    4th Round: Leonard Floyd
    5th Round: Reggie Ragland
    7th Round: Paxton Lynch

Bro.. You could get Tunsil in the 7th for sure.

Everything else looks legit though. I'd sign up for that.

Doubt Ragland is taken before the 6th. Swap him out with Bosa in the 5th and this is looking like we could really load up.

I feel like Bosa might underperform but I guess it might be worth the risk in the 5th.

You might be right. I might just take him off my board entirely. DIII prospects don't always translate to the pros

As long as they can punt I don't care who we draft.

I wrote this over a month ago before Jaylons Smith injury happened which has clearly helped solidify Jacks spot as probably the first LB chosen between the 2 since he actually will be ready by the season starts AND before we were even we slotted at 20 so yea...thanx for giving this thread some play though eventually. Appreciate ya!

MJ will be looooong gone before we pick unfortunately but in a perfect world he would be a great fit for sure!
