I also think precipitation plays a factor but as to the wind, Westoff was just saying that Fitz is used to playing in the wind up there so even if it is windy, it shouldn't effect him all that much. Didn't think it would be a problem for him.

Seriously? You don't think rain affects the game, making the balls more slippery and harder to grip? You don't think ice and snow on the field affect traction, and hence the game? You don't think brutal cold affects the players? If so, you obviously have only been watching football since domes came into being. Every one of those factors affects the game. For that matter very hot, humid weather affects the game as well. Players start cramping, tire more easily, etc.

 

Yeah, severe weather will affect the game. High winds are tough. But if the winds aren't too high and there's no snow or rain I think Fitz is good. Taylor? I'm not so sure.

Fitz' experience and savvy are paying off for him. That experience is priceless
