Now now Stokes. Don't be a SOJ'er....or whatever they call the numerous miserable fucks that populate this board.
I'm serious. I think we win this game in a walkover. I'd love to get Powell another weeks rest so he's fresh for the playoffs. But we gotta get in. _

I would have him active in case of emergency. If Ivory stays healthy and we have a lead, keep him on the sidelines. If Ivory goes down or we need a spark, bring Powell in. No sense in resting him if he's got 9 months to heal.
Fitzpatrick (4 years in Buffalo) said earlier in the week there is no need to look at forecasts in Buffalo. Weather changes there every 5 minutes. Hope this is right though and no snow.
Not according to the consensus of actual NFL personnel execs....but I guess you know better than the experts?
Powell is not expected to play. This is a huge loss for the Jets. Ivory is banged up and out of gas and Ridley is a pedestrian back who was fired up to play the Pats last week. The Jets are without a healthy option at RB.
Ivory a fumble waiting to happen also ...four this year ..but another five knocked out of his hands out of bounds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He put the ball on the ground in the OT drive, probably down by contact but still. It feels like he could fumble at any time. _
Perhaps Chan Gailey will tailor the gameplan to fit the Jets lack of RB this week. For example, maybe we'll see more quick-hitters, bubble screens, etc. that are virtually extensions of running plays. I would rest Powell. It's a pickle because Ivory is banged up, too. Right now, we're better than the Bills, and we would most certainly need Ivory and Powell healthy for the first round of the Playoffs.
Possibly no Breno Giacomini too. He gets pushed around in pass protection by some of the bigger names in the league but overall I think he's solid. I'd rather him than the backup.
Agreed. Tho, it figures Bilal has these "Powell is the Jets spark plug on this winning streak" articles written all week and then we find out he's hurt... Giacomini while still listed as Questionable, expects to go with his ankle taped.
Every 5 minutes ? lol Fitz does have a sense of humor We lost by 5 to them but so much has changed since first meeting. Still, starting to get knots in my stomach Lucky Ridley had a better game last week...who else we got to run the ball Tommy Bohannon??
