The last Jets team to win 11 games were Rex's 2010 AFC Championship game Jets.

    QB-Fitz vs Sanchez

    Advantage: Fitz

    HB-Ivory/Powell vs Greene/Tomlinson

    Advantage-Push

WR-Marshall, Decker, Enunwa vs Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery
    Advantage: Push

OL-Brick, Faneca, Mangold, Slauson, Woody/Hunter vs Dbrick, Carpenter, Mangold, Colom/Winters, Giacomini

    Advantage: 2010

    TE: Keller vs Enunwa/Davis/Cumberlans

    Advantage 2010

DL Ellis, Pouha, Dixon/Devito vs Wilkerson, Harrison, Williams/Richardson

    Advantage-2015

LB Pace, Harris, Scott, Thomas/ Taylor vs Pace, Harris , Davis/ Henderson, Mauldin

    Advantage: 2010

Secondary Revis, Leonhard, Smith, Cro vs Revis, Pryor, Gilchrist, Cro

    Advantage 2015

Overall it's pretty close, but I would take the 2010 roster because it had Revis, Brick, Mangold, Pace, Cro, and Harris in their prime.

They weren't Rex's Jets, they were the NY Jets. And besides he had little to do with that team being assembled.

Faneca wasn't on that team you're missing Brandon Moore.

    QB: 2015
    RB: Push
    WR: 2015
    TE: 2010
    OL: 2010

    DL: 2015
    LB: 2010
    DB: 2015

Special teams: 2010 by a fucking mile.

Yeah I'd take the 2015 WRs over the 2010 WRs any day of the week. This board did love some Braylon Edwards way beyond what was rational, though.....

Greene/Tomlinson are better than Ivory/Powell. Ivory is wearing down and while Powell has done a nice job picking up the slack he's not a feature back

Tomlinson put up 914 yards in 15 games in 2010 and had 52 catches. Greene had 766 yards in 15 games. Those guys were better.

I'm calling that a push. Ivory's much better than Greene. Greene had the better OL too

2010 offense was putrid (25th in the league), 2015 by a mile.
    2010 d was better than 2015 version.

Powell's late surge is reminding me of what LT did for us.. Here's to a great game in buffalo by bilal to help us remember how we ended that 2010 season!

38-0 with Brunell at QB IIRC.

Actually 2010 Offense was 11th in yards and 13th in points. That was a decent offense, that particular year.

I'll take the 2015 offense though.

I think Ian Rappaport can settle this debate.

The WR's are farrrrr from a push

Also the team overall is more balanced. The D might not be as dominant as they were in 2010 but it doesnt matter with the way our offense is right now.

    Overall Im taking this team.

I think the teams are similar. Both teams had some nice OT wins (Cleveland and Lions) and (Patriots and Giants).

The 2010 Jets had the 3rd ranked defense in the NFL. The current defense is ranked 6th, but could end up as high as third depending on this weekend. The 2015 defense could end up with less points allowed than the 2010 version, if they hold the Bills under 12 points.

This years offense has already outscored the 2010 team. That team had the 11th ranked offense, the 2015 Jets are currently ranked 8th (7 yards from 6th).

We'll see where this team ends up

Doesn't matter. Different team, different year, different competition, different philosophy, different Jets.
Let's just win Sunday. That it's all that matters.
After that, We can postulate and see who we have to play in the first round.
For all I care this could be the worst team ever to find his way to the SB....and I would be in heaven.
Rather be the worst team to advance than the best team to not make it.
    Go Jets.
