The game plan was so good, Jets could have won going away if Fitz was a little more on his game. He made some critical errors which kept NE in the game until the end.

I still think he looked a thousand times better than Hill ever did, in any year, not just rookie year. Admittedly, I thought he would be a lot better as a rookie but he has had a lot to overcome and the learning curve was a bit more than I thought it would be for him. The book is still out on him, I hope he becomes a solid 1 or 2 for us I'm the future. Time will tell. I'm still sane, even with my Smith hype pre-season. Besides, I'm about to be on the Ezekiel Elliot hype train this off season, so you can look forward to that next.
only thing i really had an issue with coaching wise with bowles this game was that 4th and 9 where brady hit the long one to gronk over the middle. I thought bowles should have learned from the first game you need to bring the heat on brady in that situation. the first game we had them in that long 3rd and 17, he rushed 3, brady had all day and picked it up. similar situation... we didnt bring pressure, brady had time to stand in the pocket and hit gronk. to me you bring the house there and you make sure the quick one to gronk is covered. if keyshawn martin beats you on a hot route with brady making the throw under duress i can live with that... i cant really live with brady having time to find gronkowski. make someone other then their best players beat you... make the line beat you with pass blocking, make martin or brandon boldin beat you down the field
Get Elliot on this team. Ivory falling apart down the stretch the past couple seasons is getting stale. Let him walk, retain Powell and draft Elliot while still spending $ and a few picks on O-Line and our offense can be even stronger next season.
The Jets anchors on the 0-line have some serious age on them. Mangold is still Mangold, Brick may be slipping a bit so let's try to find his replacement in this upcoming draft and a guard. Next year get Mangold's replacement.
NYJ the only team that has scored 2+ offensive TD's in every game this season. Fuck the Chan-man haters. His old ass has been OUTSTANDING and nothing short of it. The bad play calls in buffalo on 4th downs were confirmed audibles by Fitz. The bad decisions to go for them were obviously on Bowles but he has matured so much.
