Shakers tonight after dinner. At least join me there. I will grab some boobs allright Back to the topic. My old boss is a big big Eagles fan. I told him many times Chip couldn't get an NFL team with adult players behind him. Not even talking football here. He is a narcissistic huge ego and he was let go. Could be a good football mind but too bad in human relations. Good riddance for Eagles if you ask me.
Would love to but no can do. Actually had surgery yesterday, haven't had anything to drink in 3 days. Had not a drop at the game Sunday, probably why I didn't get band that night. Have a good BDay dude. _
Where does he remember having it last? Maybe he should re-trace his steps. That always works for me whenever I lose anything big like that. +++++ EDIT: And get well soon!
Not totally surprising. The timing is pretty shocking though. I hope he ends up at ND if Brian Kelly leaves. Have a feeling he'll take the NFL jump.
Chip, get out, safire in here. It's philly speak. Ps. Google image Safire. Make sure you're in a safe public place, like work or church.
If you look at it from a record standpoint he got a raw deal but you're right. He bought way too much into his own system. He thought he could replace his best players with anyone and the system would do the rest. Too bad it severely tires out a defense. If he keeps Shady and Foles they probably walk away with the division handedly. He really screwed that up. You don't change your entire backfield in one offseason when they brought you back to back 10-6 seasons. I was completely wrong on the situation too. I thought he was going to pull it off but it imploded on him like many predicted.
I know the logical choice would be Tennessee because of Mariota, but what about Miami? He has his style of QB in Tannehill, his slash RB in Miller, his big possession receiver in Landry, some building blocks on defense, and.... its Miami. Is all of that better than Mariota for Chip?
No surprise at all here. Ship out all your offensive stars over two seasons because you think you can do better. Demand full control of personnel. Install your handpicked guy as Director of Player Personnel. Throw him under the bus as the season goes south. What else was likely to happen here? This was like the Mangini firing by the Jets only the Eagles really sucked this year instead of just collapsing down the stretch.
