I like how they just all kinda walked away from it leaving it right there. Quite a few other fan bases, no names, would have completely obliterated that thing, burn it to ashes. Followed by a burning of the ashes to be mixed with some "other" material and used to harass the offending fan base.

Its a very true statement. I dont want to say all Pats fans are bandwagoners but you neverrrrr see any jersey's prior to 2001 at Foxboro. No Bledsoe , Coates , Glenn, C-Mart (although that one would be rare). Only one I've seen more than once there is Ty Law. Everytime I go to Jets games there are tons jerseys from every era. Even when there is a vintage red Pats jersey from the 80s its always Brady or Gronk. And maybe its because Im not a jersey wearing guy , but why would ANY guy over the age of 18 wear a Brady or Gronk jersey. Yuck.
Absolutely!! Any given Jets game has a jersey from 1969 - present. That's because our fans like football and love the Jets for better or worse. That's why it drives me bat shit crazy when a pats fan smugly talks shit with contempt. You know how to wipe that shit eating grin off their faces? This is truef or 90% of them ready? .....just ask , "name 10 players on the Patriots right now besides Brady or Gronk". I've done it countless times and it works 80% - 90% of the time.
