On the other hand if Rex wins Sunday he will prob put up a trophy in his living room ... it would probs look like this lol http://slamxhype.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/featured21.jpg
Yea I'm still nervous either way,If it was at home id feel a little better but the fact that its in Buffalo and it might snow. Then you combine that with the Steelers playing the Browns ,nervous is an understatement
The Jets are more or less in good shape right now. The right side of the OL looked decent to good against NE. The team is playing with confidence in each other, and essentially without distractions. Sounds like a winning formula to me.
Gailey doesn't seem adverse to rolling Fitz out of the pocket either. Now throw in a few PAF's to go with those screens and we'll have ourselves a very dangerous offense.
It kinda boggles my mind how we went away from that screen to Powell after the Giants game. I mean, we're winning and the offense looks good so I can't complain but... why?
Predictability comes to mind Mo. Just like when we ran the f'n 'cat, every time Tebow came on the field, you knew what the play was gonna be. We need Powell to be more of a X-factor. Sometimes even be a decoy for Deck or The Marshall. I'd like to see more sweeps myself. They did run one against NEP.
Rex has always been known as a Player's Coach. The Jets were his team for 6 years. Woody Johnson gave him a head coaching job when no one else would. A Bills loss would improve his team's draft position, while also sending his former players like Nick Mangold, Calvin Pace, David Harris, etc back to the playoffs. A rational coach would realize this. Rex, on the other hand, is a moron who is preaching to his team that it is a "Super Bowl" when in reality they are (7-8) losers.
Refresh my memory......how is Buffalo's Dline compared to New England and how did we do against them last time? I know Buffalo's Dline was one of the best last year, but they've under performed with all the expectations, no?
Everyone knows this is Rex Ryan's super bowl, and he'd love nothing more than to knock us out of the playoffs, the organization that screwed him by giving him nothing to work with on the defensive side (or offense too, for that matter). It's well-documented that Idzik's plan was to sabotage Rex (who the owner forced him to keep), and then bring in his own guy. I'm glad it backfired on Idzik, but I still feel bad for Rex for what happened to him here. So you know Rex will have his team firing on all cylinders this week. We better bring our A game in this one! I'm optimistic given how good our team is this year, but still, it won't be easy! J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS! Should be a great one this week!
