All football fans are in unison when New England loses, they all come together. And it's even better when all their loser writers and fans make contradictory excuses for everything.

Funny. If we'd have lost they be hip thrusting all over NE. Now we're "over reacting." Nice double standard there.

Scott Zolak had a brief but costly career with the Jets. After the '98 season, Parcells sent Glenn Foley packing due to hiding an injury just prior to Vinny taking over. Parcells had experience with Zolak from his own Patriot days and signed him to be the Jets backup in '99.

Either Zolak didn't care or had nothing left and was cut in training camp. Sure as sh!t, Tetstaverde tears his achilles in the first game of the season. The Jets turn to recently signed Rick Mirer who gives them nothing. It was weeks before the team settled down and Ray Lucas brought stability and NY missed playoffs by a game.

    Thanks Scott you dick.

Honestly though you see the same reaction all through the year when teams win OT games. Even the Pats when they beat the Giants with a FG with 1 sec left had some players storm on the field if I remember and that was week 10.

They didn't react like that cause it was against the Cheats. They would have done the same against any other team. It was a game they COULDN'T lose.

Cheat nation making it all about them, of course..lol

I remember Zolak. He's the guy that used to harvest Drew Bledsoe's dingleberries.

If the Jets win the Super Bowl, Rex will blow his brains out and all the haters will say the Jets had an easy schedule.

His name does sound like one of those drugs with a mile long list of side effects evidently including acute assholism.

That's it - if they're gonna shovel the crap our way, shovel it right back! I only recommend Zolak if you have trouble sleeping at night. Insomniacs swear by it.

I do think there's something to it. It's huge win against a hated foe. In many ways an atypical win recently for the Jets. I'm sure they'll calm down and get back to business soon enough.

Scott was a backup QB for the Pats. He's become a very popular radio announcer in the Boston area. Being a QB he actually does have some good insight into the game. And some of the inside workings of the Patriots.

And he most definitely is an over the top Patriots supporter and is very funny as a result. You would love him if he was announcing for the Jets.

The reason the Jets were celebrating as much as they were though had less to do with beating the Pats than it normally would though. I think that's what Zolak doesn't understand when making that comment. It basically was the Super Bowl for the Jets (just like Sunday will be) cause had they have lost their season could have been over.

It was a game the Jets had to win regardless of opponent.

Off topic, but they should just change warning on all meds to "may cause 'mild' death".

Zolak was Parcell's butt-boy who was brought with him to NYJ then couldn't make the team over Lucas and Mirer. Nuff said.
