the ground and pound mentality is obsolute. the league is geared to passing and scoring points, especially touchdowns. bill walsh was right. you pass to score tds, build a lead , then run to eat up the clock. gailey needs to open up on offense. run just enough only to keep the qb from being teed off on every play. spread out the defense. watch what the pats do. they don't throw long often. they looked better against us with a patchwork ol than we did against the raiders with vets. bad sign. and, don't give me the brady excuse, since fitz can throw those shorter passes also.

The coaching staff put together one helluvah game plan! Bowels and Gailey deserve a lot of praise and credit for out coaching BB. I'm absolutely glowing about Bowels and playoffs aside, this team is going places. While we're at it Mac put together a great team for the coaching staff to work with so let's give him a pat on the back too. I'm on cloud 9 with the Jets right now and this ridiculous thread needed a bump.
