Actually a pretty good chance we face the Bengals. If the Broncos were to win at home tonight and we all take care of business next week we'd face the Bengals in the first round. I'd take a Daltonless Bengals in the first round or another shot at the Texans before either AFC West team.

truth of the matter is we can beat anyone in the AFC without luck. Something i never felt was the case with the 09 or 10 team. That doesn't mean we're going to outright win, but I feel more confident about this team than either of those teams

    Jets O ranking 8 D ranking 6

    Texans O ranking 20 D ranking 3

    Denver O ranking 21 D ranking 1

    KC O ranking 25 D ranking 9

Now I know that games aren't paper but despite an easy schedule KC has had trouble moving the ball all season.

reason they are winning they are SECOND in turnover plus/minus.

All (lol) the Jets have to do to win at KC is avoid turnovers.

We're lucky to be in with a shot at this point in timeas we've got the same conference record as Oakland who've been eliminated for weeks (and beat us). Match us up against their schedule and Fitzmagic or no - I don't think we'd be in the conversation.

As for matching up our stats to opponent 'x' stats, we've faced crappy opponents this season and the only real win of note was the Pats.

Denver - KC, Pats, Vikings and Packers and all with some questionable QB work.
KC - Texans, Steelers, Broncos with 4 of 5 loses against playoff bound teams.
    Texans - Bengals and Jets.

    I'd therefore take the Texans.

We are looking ahead before Rex and company. Lucky the players don't lol

If you wanna have some fun projecting its Denver for me. I want to beat their arrogant a holes after having the nerve to let Shitsburg back in that game a week ago. They are in big trouble IMO without that gimpy Manning. How great is their D? To let BenR come from behind. Meh.

KC is on fire too hot to handle. Texans are a disruptive D with JJ

I'd take Denver....... They are going to either give Osweiler his first start, or put in Peyton's busted ass...... They have no offensive line, and there WR's don't catch anything consistently....... Yes they have a pretty good Defense...... So do we..... I don't think our Offense will need to do much to out score Denver

We have no idea what the Jets record would be if we had a different schedule. Good or bad.

Dammit, I thought the Bengals were 2 games ahead of the Broncos so they would have to lose to the Ravens at home in order to play in the wild card round. There actually is a really good chance we wind up playing them.

Rematch against the Texans. Watt is playing with a broken hand, they're startingBrandon Weeden, and I don't see this team putting together another poor game plan against the Texans. With Watt not being fully healthy, he won't be the wrecking crew that he was in November either. How are they going ti score on us with Weeden? Hopkins had his way with Revis last time, but the Patriots already put outnthe blueprint; having Revis shade Hopkins with little to no safety help was silly. No competent coaching staff would those mistakes agaim.

Marshall and Decker are both former Bronco receivers. That makes it interesting. But, ultimately I don't want to see the Jets at that altitude. Bad memories.

100% wanna play Houston followed by Kansas City. The only team who can score on us consistently is New England and we just held them to one offensive touchdown.

    Denver

We're rolling right now and Denver will be the toughest opponent we could face.

However, if Hoyer has to sit one more week I'd rather play Houston before he returns.

I'll take Houston. Both the Jets and the Texans were different teams when they faced in the middle of the season. The Texans are again in trouble at QB and the Jets are playing much better ball. I'm really hoping that we win and KC loses this Sunday so that we can take the #5 seed. If that happens, there's a chance we won't face New England in the divisional round. They always seem to win when there's a chip on their shoulder, and they have a massive one after yesterday. If we end up making the playoffs and facing New England, I would rather it be in the Championship when they may be a little cocky after destroying someone in the Divisional round.

Texans or Broncos. Both teams have offensive troubles with a shaky QB situation. Texans have the worse defense so I would go with them despite them beating us last time. Hopkins would need to be doubled.

Really need to update the poll with a Cincinnati option. If Denver beats Cinci tonight the odds of us facing the Bengals are actually quite high.

    I'd rank my choices as:
    1) @ Cinci
    2) @ Houston
    3) @ Denver
    4) @ KC

KC is rolling and is built to win a field-position game against us. Cinci is a paper tiger and is without their QB.

    1) Houston
    2) Denver
    3) Kansas City
    4) Cincinnati: Dalton should be back; and this team is clearly the most talented of the 4.

I'd pick Houston because, if it is a road game, there will be ideal conditions for the passing game. We'd have a tough time winning if our passing game is neutralized by poor weather - especially in KC.
