Not "end up" with one more game then ... WIN one more game. How about this: To make PO, from the remaining 2 games, Jets have to win one more than Den or Pit or KC. Would that work out for you?
You include Minnesota in what you called a murderous stretch but I think Minnesota's record makes them look a little better than they really were. Sure they beat KC but the other wins were Chicago 2X, Detroit 2X, SD, St.Louis, Oakland and Atlanta and they lost to San Fran. Look at KC's wins and they are also not all impressive, SD X2, Detroit, Denver with Manning playing hurt, Buffalo, Oakland, Baltimore, Pitt with Landry Jones at QB and Houston. Yes I know they can only play who is on the schedule and they won most of the games they should have but they lost to Chicago so beating Oakland is not a foregone conclusion.
The same old jet fan in me says we blow the last 2 games while the not so same old jet fan says we have a chance to go 11-5 giving next year some extra juice to the anticipation. Oh the pain.
How in Gods green Jets earth do you see that when it was much closer in NE? Almost one dropped pass away from winning the game. No way no how tomorrow is a big beat down by the cheaters. Fuck them
I'll put it to you this way...the Jets play like they did vs Cowboys and even the Giants...they will lose tomorrow. I have yet to see this team put more than two complete games together.....often start very slow...thankfully this has been one of the easiest schedules in recent memory...no KC, Pitt, Cin or Den on the schedule ..plus playing the worse division in the NFC...outside of NE...we haven't really played anyone....so I'm not convinced they're going to beat NE like some of you. I'm not saying it will be easy, but certainly not the beat down score you are projecting. Giants and Washington are not scrubs. Please see the game against Carolina. It will be tough, but for the team sake hope you are wrong.
