Pro Bowl is such a joke, so is MVP for that matter. I'll never live down the year Revis lost out the D MVP to Charles Woodson *shakes head* #popularitycontest
Doug Baldwin ? Allen Robinson ? Delanie Walker ? Pryor, Mangold and Ivory should also be in question but the 3 above are so obvious
I know... It's such a non-glorious unsung position to the casual NFL fan. This man has got to be one of the top 3 all time Jets. I'll also say if I could meet anyone on the team to drink some IPAs with it would be Nick.
Number never lie, but they also don't tell the whole story. 2009 was possibly the most dominant performance by a CB since the introduction of the forward pass. Here's a quick reference to that. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/325400-how-defensive-player-of-the-year-went-to-the-wrong-player
Seeing David DeCastro's name SUCKS. Many of us wanted to draft him instead of Quinton Coples back in 2012. Its draft picks like those (amongst numerous others) that answer the question, "how come the Steelers will make the playoffs & we dont?" That's what happens when you let Rex Ryan have the slightest say on personnel.
I'm not saying Revis didn't have a huge year. I am a huge revis fan. Backed him up through all the negotiations, the trade and supported him as a buc and a patriot. I'm just saying Revis wasn't hands down the defensive MVP. Woodson had a hell of a year as well. Turnovers are huge and he was the master at creating them. P.S. Your missing chad ocho cinco on that list (twice) and reggie Wayne. I forgot TO was on the bills. Another not revis is a better corner then Deion. Deion is the better athlete.
