    These last two games couldn't have been non-division games? Lol.

    You know DAMN WELL that BB and Rex will want to make sure the Jets don't get in, especially the latter.

    Sadly, I'm ready accepting the fact that the Jets won't make it. Damn shame too...

    If Denver loses once and KC and us win out, we are in. We hold tie breaker over Denver.

    Tell me Horseheads lose the rest of their games ? i say its a 60% chance of happening One game ? bump that to 75%

    Ostweiller and their offense exposed terribly today and teams will devour him. Their Defense kept them in this last game

    This looks like the most likely scenario for the Jets to get in. Either way they will probably need to win out.

    Jets need to win out and have the following happen (bolded the most likely ones):

    KC lose to Cleveland
    KC lose to Oakland

    Denver lose to Cincinnati
    Denver lose to San Diego

    Pitt lose to Baltimore
    Pitt lose to Cleveland

    Next week becomes super interesting if the Jets can beat New England as the Denver game is on Monday night. Should warn myself that I should not get really excited about AJ McCarron. But that Monday night game becomes big for homefield for Cincy if the Jets beat New England.

    Jets can also make it if they go 1-1 and Kansas City or Denver lose out.

    Pats game is a must win,what really blows is next year we have to play teams like Pitt,Seattle,Arizona,Cinci and of course the usual NE bs .Its not gonna be easy next year either, we had a favorable schedule this year and didn't take advantage of it.Losing to the Raiders and Bills ,what do we get for missing the playoffs with a winning record?zero not even a good draft pick either

    What is interesting is fans keep complaining about these scenarios, but the Jets defeating the Patriots and then the Bills is the least likely of all those scenarios. If the Jets win those 2 and then miss out, you can complain. Until then, be patient.

    Agree. Can't assume 11-5. But it's just annoying to know that 11-5 wouldn't mean controlled destiny.

    My favorite part about this is that we get to vehemently cheer against the Broncos for the rest of the season. With what they did today, they made my shit list, so I'm glad that we get to root for them to lose. Honestly, I hope we take THEIR spot. Let KC and PIT get in with us, I want the Broncos to watch the playoffs.

    Soo if we go 1-1 and Denver goes 1-1, do we get in or at that point would they need to go 0-2?

    We need to win out and hope that David Carr plays the game of his life against KC.

    We can get in going 1-1 if any of the Broncos, Chiefs or Steelers go 0-2 and no other way at 10-6.

    Most likely scenario would be us winning out and Denver losing next week in Cinci. Then we would get in with the tie breaker over them I think correct?
