Best part of having Enunwa is the announcers trying to pronounce his name on national TV

Not sure who that was last night but they called him "Uh-Noon-Whey". You'd think these play by play guys would actually do a little preparation and learn the players' names, which sort of is their job.

my hope is he steps into wr1 or wr2 as marshall ages out. would be nice to have guys in the pipeline ready to fill in so we aren't scrambling to fill holes in the spring

Yes, I think you're right. At least I remember a Tony Martin vaguely. LOL

Big body, decent hands. Made a HUGE play before the Decker TD. Wasn't the greatest throw in the world, but Q made a good adjustment and secured that ball nicely. Met him in TC last season. He's a nice dude. Isn't a bad WR3 4 or 5 lol

I looked up Tracy Martin and he was drafted in 1987 so he wouldn't have been on your list but he only played 12 games. I wonder what happened to him. Tried looking but couldn't find a whole lot.

Enunwa and Thompkins are finding themselves spots on this team moving forward. And I'm all for it.

Hey that might be another reason they cut Coples. Had to free up the Q monica

Maccagnan is slowly filling the pipe line with future starters, something that's been lacking over the last 5-7 yrs (see Special Teams play). 3 drafts from today we should have a decent team on the field and a decent team in training.

That really remains to be seen. Enunwa is an Idzik pick and we really only have two contributors from Mac's draft both of which are on our strongest unit in the defensive line. I like what Mac's done but as quickly as everyone was to rip apart Idzik, everyone quickly wants to anoint our new GM.

It'd be amazing to see Jarvis Harrison take over that right guard spot...

Update me on the Jarvis/right guard situation. What happened to Winter?

Nothing happened to Winters although he is easily our worst player. Our black hole of a tightend spot might be better than Winters.

Jarvis Harrison is on the practice squad I believe.

If you think hes only had one good play every 4-5 games, then you don't pay attention to the finer aspects of football enough.

    How about Jets fans?

I will say, when I watched tape on that year's draft class, I said immediately that Enunwa had the highest upside of any of the 3 WR he drafted. He's a solid blocker and has really done a nice job for us.

No, he's a WR that can block exceptionally well. Not some bullshit H-Back/undersized TE that strictly lines up flexed out.

I think he's definitely a WR/H-back/TE the way Gailey is using him in this offense. But whatever.

He's been playing mediocre, dropping a lot of passes.

He hasn't had one single game above 50 yards. No one is expecting him to be as good as Marshall or Decker but he plays like a fringe player.

Talking about his blocking dude. What 3rd receiver gets many games above 50 yards anyway? He's being used as an H-back basically, pivotal blocking role.
