Two 7-7 teams atop their damn divisions, and we're frantically calculating scenarios on the outside looking in at 9-5..I need to get a drink and forget about this league for a bit.
They're playing for a bye week. Denver win means Bengals have to play the Steelers on Wild Card weekend. They don't want that; I like their chances against Osewiler, but with the Jets luck Osweiler will have a career game.
We need to beat the Pats - without that all this scenario stuff don't mean shit. I think we make it, if we win out.
Brandon Weeden's likely going to start a playoff game, while a 10 or 11 win Jets team misses the playoffs. Fix your playoff system, NFL.
We play at 1pm next week. If we win, we have to wait until Monday night for the Bengals/Broncos game cause Pitt and KC are not losing next week.
We are still very much alive We just got demoted out of WC spot (sigh). WE MUST WIN OUT TO HOLD SERVE PATS...GET OUT OF OUR WAY!!! KC: might not lose at all Pitt :maybe Denver :Based on the product just witnessed today they are TOAST
My "radical" idea of no divisions was met with ridicule here........have an AFC and a NFC...no divisions ...everyone plays everyone...alternate home/away every year....play one interconference team ...The best way to have a balanced fair schedule ....but let's award shitting 7-9 8-8 teams who only plays 6 out of 16 games in division ... Nothing wrong with the NFL playoff system. You play your division opponents twice a season, every year. There needs to be a playoff birth for division winners, otherwise they need to just completely do away with divisions -- which the only way to make it fair would be to play everyone in the conference once, and 1 game against the other conference which would really suck.
