absolutely, i never really fell in love with him. he was always tied to sancho for me and my disdain for sancho helped me to stay even keel with rex. there was a point in year 2 where they were having the come back victories that i thought for a few weeks man these 2 idiots might actually be pretty decent. his biggest issue for me still revolved around sancho, his utter refusal to sit the guy on the bench no matter how bad he was. with the tattoos and all the rest of the bs with him. oh man i can remember it making me sick. ill tell you this though, i always watched the post game when rex was here. i dont have any need to now that bowles is here and thats a good thing. rex creates great drama, but thats not what football is about.
"As I say, that falls directly on me. So I get that. No question. It doesn't need to be pointed anywhere else. It needs to be pointed at me. Like I said, I'm a big guy, I got broad shoulders, I can take it. Literally, I can count on -- well, this would be my first finger -- that I've ever been considered maybe a weakness of a team the way I coach defense. But clearly we haven't been up to what we anticipated. Any of us. The fan base, myself, players, everybody. And I get that. Now that's my responsibility. The season is not over. I expect to play better, but that's just the way it is." Oh really? Our past shitty records as HC you were not a part of? More delusion. I've never been a weakness in my own mind
bingo. It's always about his defense. It's never about anything else. "The way I coach defense" It's always about his defensive rankings and where his defense stands among the rest. Always.
I was banking on Rex's team quitting today by starting Cousins along with Reed in my fantasy football semi. Thank you Rex thank you
watched Cousins destroy Rex's defense today. What an awful job, there are rumors Mario Williams wants to leave the Bills.
Rex: " We are gonna have the best defense next yr, and stuff, obviously. Lotta injuries this yr. Great week of practice. And stuff. Obviously. Felt good about things when we were down 21-0 at HT. Obviously. And Stuff."
Except for this thread, I can honestly say I have peacefully forgotten about this man. So nice to have escaped the circus. Next stop for this ego maniac, where all ex-coaches land - ESPN
Possibly sooner than anyone thought too. I wonder if they would have the balls to fire him if they lose out.
Bills are officially eliminated from the playoffs after today's loss. The Bills fan forums seem to be equally divided between it being Rex's fault, the GM's fault, the fault of injuries, or the lack of talent.
I'll help those poor bastards out, Rex sucks as a HC and is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY overrated as a defensive genius .
