There's no way this kid see's another pro snap with us. Fitz plays injured. Plays with his heart while using his head. Geno your services are no longer needed. You had 2 seasons to prove your value. Don't be so sure.....Geno was seemingly besting Fitz this training camp and was virtually named the starter. Geno went weeks into camp w/o doing anything dumb or even throwing an int. It will be very interesting next camp to see if Geno has learned anything from sitting behind Fitz this year. And if he can translate any of it into production on the field. Macc/Bowles would love nothing better than for a younger, more athletic QB to show he has what it takes to beat out Fitz for the starting role.
................followed by Jamie Collins snapping something of Fitzy in the first quarter of next weeks game requiring Geno to come in. Despite a narrow loss he starts against the Bills where he post his usual last game HOF numbers in a 36-16 win but alas the Jets miss out on the playoffs. Fitz gets traded for RGIII who subsequently trips and ruptures his ACL at his introductory press conference, Geno starts, Jets lose, Todd Bowles is forced to throw in Petty in the last few games against the Texans, Broncos, Pats, and every other top team who destroy him and his career. Silly. Geno supporters want the same thing we all want. Wins, play-offs, Superbowl. Geno has talent, he hasn't been surrounded by much when he played for us the last two years. He needs to mature, yes. He needs to improve a good deal, but he's not done in the NFL. I had high hopes for him in year one, but that faded quickly. I think he's fixable, maybe not wish us, but he has talent enough to find a team .
I think the "Genobots" are those people who dislike Geno because they seem to bring him up more than those who support(ed) him
This is Fitz team now. Geno is only one year older than Bryce "The Future" Petty. Bring Fitz back as starter next year and let Geno and Petty battle it next year for clipboard holder.
