Just caught his post game interview. He's a mad man! It's even better with audio: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-video...tzpatrick-photobombed-by-Mangold-Is-this-live
I am happy to eat crow. Fitz has finally won me over., I was like ah fuck when we signed him, and fuck, fuck fuck when Geno got socked, and even up until this point I really believed that we were winning with Fitz but not necessarily because of Fitz. But his blood dripping down his face, Rocky-esque performance last night has made me a fan.
I like Fitz but more than that, I like how he has his teammates behind him like a rock. Go Fitzy!! Ride the beard train and take us to the playoffs.
More than his performance it's his ability to make everyone around him play better. They believe in him and sometimes having faith is all it really takes.
he's making this year fun as hell!! he deserves the playoffs! football gods gonna get us in just have faith
If only the teammates in front of him were "like a rock". He's had a better year than anyone could have imagined, gotta keep it rolling... 6 more games.
Fitz is our Mad Rasputin even with a trimmed beard lol Like Plunkett from Stanford, Fitz from Harvard leads us to promised land
I don't know about anybody else but beyond being enjoying the run they are on. I love how the atmosphere surrounding the team has changed. A lot of that has to do with Fitz.
Fitz was just messing around. That was an awfully late reaction. He's just having fun and goofing off. Does anyone actually think he was being serious lol?
That's the Mangold photobomb I have been waiting for. It's just as good as the Bigfoot Lean-in on Mark Sanchez in 2010.
This is SO much better with audio - that long crazy staredown into the camera is Fitz going 'crap, i'm on live national television right now' I was one of my few jets friends who was excited when we signed fitz, we are possibly the best situation he could have fell into at this point in his career and there are quite a few other teams that wish they'd had the foresight Mac did, including the one we signed him away from!
No and I'm not sure why you'd think that. It's obvious he was just playing around, just like Nick. Just enjoy the chemistry these guys are having and how they all believe in each other.
He's won me over also. I did not like the idea of him as our starting QB and was not impressed through the first half of the season, but he's played very well and is a big part of this playoff push. I was wrong about him. I'm all for signing him to 2-3 year deal at reasonable money while the search for a future starter continues. He's more than capable of running this team in the meantime and would make an excellent back up if Petty or someone else emerges.
