Crucial play today. I have a feeling that somewhere in FLA, a football exec is saying, "That's what I thought we'd get from drafting Hill!' Or not.

We really missed him during the 4 game suspension. He does a lot for the running game and he has been getting more involved in the passing game as of late.

He made similar crazy catches this year (OAK) when the ball was thrown WAY behind him which forced him to reach back with his hands while off his feet, reaching back with his hands while his body goes the other direction. He had another one called back against the Cowboys because of a Winters penalty I believe. He's tough to tackle and gets a lot of YAC, he can make circus catches, but he still needs to work on his route running and catching the easy ones. But lately he hasn't had any drops so he's getting better at it. I love his versatility. He can be a legit #1 receiver (if he ever takes that step), he can be a legit #2 receiver, he's a great slot guy in our offense, he can line up in the backfield.

How could you leave Tracy Martin off that list!!!! For some reason I liked him, played into late 80's and I think we drafted him from South Dakota or something like that. I don't know what happened to him because I'm pretty sure he only played 1 or 2 years for us. I do recall him being quite fast, he did return kicks. I'm gonna guess one of my all time favorite players JoJo Townsell was pretty fast. He was a pretty good KR

It's about damn time the kid showed up in the passing game. He looked good out there. Hope he continues to produce.

They need to convert him to TE.
He could be very dangerous from that position.
He has the size and can block adequately.

I think this forum would benefit from a section with threads devoted to individual players. We have literally had dozens of threads this season alone about Marshall and Fitzpatrick. Why not just one continuous thread for each player? I've seen this on other message boards and I really like the idea.

    Brandon Marshall Performance
    Ryan Fitzpatrick Performance
    Bryce Petty Discussion
    Geno Smith Discussion
    Todd Bowles Discussion
    Chan Gailey Discussion
    etc.

That would remove a lot of the clutter and redundancy in the Jets forum.

I just did the drafts of the last 25 years. I stopped with the 1990 draft.

I don't remember Tracy Martin, however. I think you're right that JoJo was pretty fast.

Great to see him coming through nicely for us. He s def one of the bright spots and an upcoming player. Nice to have depth and another potential weapon.

There are a few players on offence to be excited about and Enunwa is certainly one of them .
Big strong kid who's starting to show he can be relied on in the clutch.

I like enunwa, he has been open quite a bit lately but fitz rarely looks his way. He does not have any shake and bake moves but he is big and reasonably fast.

I think he means tony martin. Fast returner who went on to have a nice career with Atlanta.
No idea why i remember that

Yea I don't know what the hell he was doing there! Nobody around and he runs right into a blocked defender

Jesus Christ, is this what it takes to get an appreciation thread? One good play every 4-5 games?

That was a great catch at a critical time in the game.

Enunwa has had some struggles this year. No doubt about it. But he has also flashed some promise and has made some big plays for the team. Fitz has thrown him the ball in big spots and obviously has faith in him. He seems to be progressing and I'm excited about his future. Next year, we can hopefully get some more consistency out of him.
