After tonight's franchise record breaking performance of 21 combined touchdowns on the season... I think it's safe to say the Marshall-Decker tandem is one of the best if not the best in the league.
You can make a very strong case for them being number 1 overall. Edit: The thing that makes them unique is that very, very, very few teams have a number 2 receiver anywhere near as good as Decker. And Marshall is probably a borderline top 5 overall receiver.
Sometimes stats are a joke.....21 combined leads the league. But Marhall also had his 10 drop tonight, which I think also leads the league.
The best part is how well they get along. There's no "Fuck you, give ME the ball" going on. I know it isn't receivers, but I'll never forget how pissed Shonn Greene looked after LT scored down at the goal line that one game.
Not even close, he was top five in drops but his drop percent has remained low compared to LaFell, Thomas and others. He gets so many targets.
They are the best tandem this season. There's no argument here. Stats are there and the talents there.
by the numbers and stats, B Marsh and Deck are the #1 tandem in the league. This is statistical. They are also arguably the best tandem in franchise history. I'm very happy we have them together for years to come.
