Just keep in mind, this is a team that lost to a man in street clothes the week before (TJ Yates), so let's just keep that in mind before we start any "guarantees".

We didn't lose to Yates we lost to watt...people keep forgetting how he killed our line. Yates put up 14 points.

The Cowboys look bad.. They do. Cassel is their QB, yes, but I'm not over confident about this game. If we played them at the Meadowlands I'd feel better about it.. We haven't been a good road team, and never fare well against the Cowboys. This could be our season...

I just don't know why Jets didn't assign 3 men to Watt on every play that day. Pats did just that. [OG/OT/TE or RB] I mean, Marshall and Decker CAN win 1-on-1 match ups most of the time, no? Especially Marshall. Losing one receiving option is not that big of a deal, if that option neutralizes Watt. Seriously, NO.

    Ok here's the deal.

We have a bunch of neophyte Jet fans who only concentrate on the Jets.

Have never seen another NFL QB play.

    Ever.

So we have a QB who has THREE touchdowns and NO INTs.

    But they weren't worthy TDs.

NOT TD worthy. Decker is ALWAYS open. Powell did it ALL on his own. Marshall used ESP to will that ball to him and, well, Fitz didn't help him run down the sideline untouched.

And holy shit he ALMOST had 2 INTs.

    TWO INTs!!

How the fuck can you support a QB who throws TWO INTs and NO TDs?

    That's the narrative.

Basically every other QB in the league throws INTs and hits lucky TDs.

But we can't celebrate OUR QB for throwing 3 TDs against zero TDs because.

    It doesn't fit the narrative.

    Holy shit.

Found out I'll be at my GF's birthday dinner with her fam Saturday night. Not sure if I want to shut my phone off completely or just roll with app alert updates and miss out on the (potential) fun.

Why would you turn off the phone? where's the dinner taking place, restaurant, house, give us some details and we will help you put together a gameplan.

Last week I was at the movies, I was able to watch the first 2 quarters of the game at home, but up until the movie started, I was on the TGG getting updates faster than NFL.com

At a restaurant with her parents and siblings. I can't be "that guy" on my phone all night. 9PM dinner too.. my best bet might be to run into the bathroom or hope there is a t.v. near the bar.

This is why the NFL is meant for Sunday's only lol.

You answered your own question, bathroom brakes and TV near bar, drink lots of water, tell them you started some new stupid water diet and you will be making frequent bathroom brakes.....:D

Aha to be honest it didn't even dawn on me that we'd be going this Saturday. Thought maybe even Sunday or mid-week.

I was all ready to sit my ass on the couch at home. It could be worse.. could have been a home game and I'd have to sell my ticket.

    Meaning?

Its not like we often blow games to garbage teams.

We usually blow games to teams that are like us or better.

Dallas is a garbage team. They are the Titans with more media coverage.

So are you one of those guys that looks at the actual results or consults stats for all points that you make? Cuz 220 with 47% with a win and two long bombs qualifies as torching to me. I don't care if his QBR was 34.7, he beat us and killed our secondary.

Meaning the Jets history is littered with games we you "can't see them losing" and they lost. Badly in some cases, a heart breaker in others, but to say you can't see them losing screams "newer fan". They can absolutely lose this game.

Sounds like the 1.3 billion dollar monolithic grey generic air conditioner we play in. We're used to it.
