Coming to New York is definitely on my bucket list. At least I've been to a Jets game, even if on the road. I wouldn't know about bandwagon fans since I live there, but I hope Packer fans where you guys live are nice, and respectful.

You're a regular Jets fan, I feel like it's totally different if you pick for an out-of-state team that's an underdog like the Jets, and stick with 'em. Chad Cascadden is from Wisconsin too, so you're in good company as a Wisconsin Jets fan :)

2001 last game against Oakland, I was a kid, and hated the Raiders, and really grew to like Martin, and Chrebet. Then we faced them again the next week, and I was way more upset at the loss than I anticipated. The following year was the divisional championship with Penny, and everything about the team just grew on me quickly, and I've been a hopeless Jets fan ever since.

Also, I've always strived to be different, so I wanted my own team that nobody else here cheered for.

tho I reckon still better than becoming a fan cuz you didn't like the Giants hat your grandpa gave you.

Why is it fucked up? Lol just because of the shitty luck of ending up with the Jets? Yeah..would be great to go back in time and convince my kid self to like the Steelers or something haha.

Most kids become fans of teams when they watch them win the Super Bowl, not when they lose a wild card playoff game.

Well it was a game that John Hall won for us week 17 in the closing seconds to catapult the Jets into the playoffs. Plus I despised Oakland so I wanted them to lose again.

Thanks for sharing the pictures and your experiences. I'm extremely jealous. The first team I ever rooted for was the Packers. I started watching the NFL in 1962 or '63. That was the Lombardi Packers. I loved them, but then Joe Willie Namath came along and the Jets became my favorite team, with the Packers falling to a close second.

As far as I'm concerned there are two stadiums in sports that are the meccas of professional sports...Yankee Stadium and Lambeau Field. I've been to Yankee Stadium several times, but never to Lambeau. I'd want to go early in the season however. I have no desires to freeze my ass off in Wisconsin! LOL

I remember being at my Dad's, which I didn't like being at to begin with, then they lost badly, which officially ruined my whole weekend.

One year I'm gonna make it work that I get to a game there, I want to do a Wisconsin Badgers home game and then after that drive to Green Bay for a Packers game the next day. Even better if it's a Monday Night Game so I have a day in between to actually enjoy the drive.

To everyone in here, thank you for the kind comments.

I went to Fenway for the first time last month (did a Spartan Race @ the Park) and then of course Lambeau this month. Words cannot describe the experiences. Lambeau, though, truly is a bucket list event. I highly encourage those who are interested to go

PS - Miano - I saw just as much Badger attire as I did Packers attire. They are crazy about the Badgers too. I'm sure a conference game would be an insane experience.

I also have a ton more pictures, if there's interest I will post more.

Careful there Muslim-Hillbilly boy, it may be Wisconsin but security's still definitely going to pat your swarthy, bomb-detonating Middle Eastern-looking ass down at the gate. :)
