    that's the MNF trend

    Browns/Ravens
    Cowboys/Redskins
    Giants/Dolphins

all that money and they didn't get the right to flex, leading to tons of awful matchups

partially due to injuries, the Giants have zero pass rush

    Tannehill has all day

coughlin made a poor decision challenging that fumble play in the third, leaving the giants down a timeout and out of challenges, but it doesn't come back to bite him

Coughlin with a piss poor coaching decision? Where have I heard that before.

Odell Blow Job rapes my FF team and Pats clinch AFC East. Not the outcome I stayed up late for.

Patriots clinching the AFC East was a foregone conclusion. They play Tennessee next week

Giants are a joke and the Dolphins a bigger joke. Carolina will murder them next week and Philly and Washington play each other in two weeks so neither team is losing out. Giants are in 3rd place now losing tiebreakers to both Philly and Washington.

After Carolina the Giants go to Minnesota. That's another good defense.

Jesus the Giants nut hugging going on NFL network right now is mind boggling. They beat a GARBAGE bottom 5 team, Odell is great (which we already knew) and Eli doesn't play like a complete doofus for a game and all of a sudden they a huge Superbowl sleeper.

NFL is so week to week- I wonder what tune they be signing when Kuechly wears Eli like a necklace and the Panthers win 56-0 next week.

For starters he got to play 4 games he should have been suspended. He cheated the integrity of the game. His boss at least owned up and accepted his penalty. The douchebag whiny ass Tammy Brady always has an excuse and never owns up to anything.

How the hell should we know how he's cheating?

I mean, who could have guessed he was deflating footballs.

Who knows what creative new way they've figured out how to cheat?

It amazing how many teams have absolutely garbage opponents last late into the season. I mean the Pats are playing Tennessee next week... Bengals get the 49ers... the following week the Panthers get the team they just beat 38-0 in the Falcons. The Panthers are so lucky. I never thought Cam Newton was gonna be a star. He almost never had 22 attempts/game in college.

I wasn't a big fan of him then and I'm not one of his now. Sure Cam gives balls to kids and talks with those going through hard times but its his job. In his position if he wasn't doing that he would absolutely be a scumbag. I didn't like his demeanor at Auburn and he sure as hell has put on a front for the media/public now. Cam Newton is much different behind closed doors than on camera. Don't let him fool you, its only being masked by them winning. He still gives off the punk vibe.

Newtons completion percentage is still a middling 59.1...but he's a big play guy and an elite runner. Built like a tank. But an elite QB...definitely not. A cut below.

Granted his receivers are nothing special. I wonder if he's been victimized by a lot of drops.

Panthers D is terrifying. They may end up with 50 sacks this year and 25 picks.

how is Newton definitely not "an elite" QB ? Honestly I would like to know the criteria for "elite QB" these days..

the last 16 games Newton has 33 Passing TDs, 10 Rushing TDs and a 16-0 record. if that's not elite then seriously something is fucked up.

Newton is imo definitely elite. Nice to see that since he's had the talent, but it wasn't clear whether it was the team or maybe attitude holding him back. I haven't thought yet where he is against the field - the off season leaves plenty for that. But like you say the numbers don't lie. He's in there for sure. Could even be league MVP.

With Greg Olsen and a bunch of scrub receivers to throw to. He may act like a mook during his press conferences, but he's nothing if not an elite QB.

Craft didn't own up to anything. He never admitted that they cheated he just took the fine. My guessing is he didn't fight it was because he thought it would help Brady's punishment.

he should absolutely be league MVP IMO its no contest. especially if/when they finish the regular season undefeated.

I honestly don't get it with Newton. If Aaron Rodgers for example was doing the same thing he's doing right now it would be ridiculous how much the media and fans would be kissing his ass. my god it would be endless nut hugging.
