I hate being a fan sports of Ducks basketball, sometimes. You're never allowed to fully enjoy your team. There is always something thst screws with a great situation. You make the NCAA's three years in a row. Can you enjoy it? F-ck no. There's a rape scandal and a local columnist hates the coach. You get a great recruiting class? Half of them don't make grade or get injured until mid - January. And you never get the calls your supposed to. At least the football team just f-cking loses the big game.

 

And then there's that court floor that looks like a bad paint-stripping job…

St. John's beats Syracuse

Mike Hopkins 1-2 as the interim. That doesn't look promising going forward

 

No we're not going to be very good this year.

Smallest team we've had in forever and graduation and players leaving early for the NBA have watered down the roster. Freshman 6-8 Tyler Lydon is playing center for a majority of the time and he's not a center.

It's ok, we've restocked for next year.

Chalk another one up for little Monmouth! So far they've knocked off Notre Dame, pushed Dayton to the Brink, beat USC by 10 and last night they crushed Georgetown in DC

Very entertaining guy, seems to bit a bit angry and he's starting to slip.

So dinner with Bobby Knight was pretty interesting. Very entertaining guy, had some great great stories but he seems a bit angry. He literally want's nothing to do with Indiana and there were a few alums at the dinner who said he is still revered there--but he will never go back. Kind of like Yogi Berra, I guess with the Yankees all those years. Spoke more about the Olympics and West Point and his relationships with Red Auerbach (smartest coach and GM every in all of sports), John Havlicek, how he recruited, one-and-doner's (hates it and would do everything he could to keep the NBA off campus), on graduation and the importance of getting a degree, said that Russell was the greatest pure winner and leader but Jordan was the greatest pure player.

Extremely opinionated and does not give 2 fucks what you think of his opinion. Seems to be slipping a bit, some of the details are starting to get confused but a mountain of a career and a man.
