Does it matter? Jared Lorenzen could start for them against SF and BAL and find a way to win one of those games. People here are acting like Andy Dalton is the saving grace of the Bengals. AJ Green, Jeremy Hill, Gio Bernard, Geno Atkins and company will be fine.

I would tend to agree. But, you just never know.

if the raiders can hold on and beat denver, a chiefs win over oakland isn't a sure thing.

    Dumb question...
ESPN is showing that for WC race Jets at 8-5 are in 6th spot while PIT at 8-5 are just out.

Where do you guys coming from saying that if both win out, Pit will be in over us?

it also helps us A LOT because if jets chiefs and broncos all finish 11-5 were in

therefore next week when the steelers play denver next week we still want denver to win but it wouldn't be meaningless if they lost

we have 2 conference games left they have 3
so if they both win out they would end up with a better conference record i think

New fun scenario thanks to the Oakland win:

Jets win out and Broncos lose to Pittsburgh and Cincy. Chiefs would win the AFC west and Broncos would miss the playoffs to us on conf record.

    I doubt that is happening

Who knew? I said we would go 8-8 in preseason

Also after dropping games to Houston, Oakland, Billss. AFC games that would hav ehelped us immensely today.

like Bowles says "we are jelling" so lets continue to roll over all

It's down to conference games. When we are playing Dallas in a non-conference game next week, Pit are playing Den. If Pit win next week (as well as all the other #1-#5 seeds) we will be out of the play-off picture no matter what the result in Dallas.

so now Jets are rooting for Cinci to implode. Hope maccarron misses those pricey receivers

Worst thought ever is knowing we could 11-5 or 10-6 and miss the playoffs while the Giants could get in at 8-8 probably, smh.

Prepare for the Cowboys. That's all that is on Bowles and the Jets' minds. Mine too. Odds are somebody is going to lose. Odds are the Jets are not going to win out. However, take it one game at a time.
