Wow zero recollection of that game lol. I guess I was about 11 or 12 depending on the date of the game but yeah I guess that makes sense considering we're only down there once every 8 years.

I remember we were down there Thanksgiving 07. Was not a fun game to watch.

Comparing hmmmm... Here's what comparing means

    com·pare
    kəmˈper/
    verb
    gerund or present participle: comparing
    1. estimate, measure, or note the similarity or dissimilarity between.
"individual schools compared their facilities with those of others in the area"
      synonyms: contrast, juxtapose, collate, differentiate
      "we compared the data sets"

Considering he's never played in the NFL there's nothing to compare to. If TJ Yates can tear up the jets defense I think AJ Maccaron can find a way to not screw up against SF and BAL just as he did in college.. Come back to earth..

dream scenario: Jets win out to 11-5 and take the division over a choking Pats 10-6 team.

I see you were born in the 80's........This current scheduling format with the out of conference rotation - a different division every four years on a rotating basis - didn't start until 2002. Every team is guaranteed to play every other team once every 4 years and once home and away every 8 years. You may be aware of that already but before that 1999 game the only time the Jets played in Dallas was in 1971. Strange quirks in the schedule like that were common which led to today's more balanced rotation......

because then broncos will be 10-3 and that means even though we would like them to beat the steelers if they don't it helps us still

I would like to call out the people calling for Bowles head just a couple weeks ago and claiming that Quinn is the better coach and we missed out

Its possible that we could be facing the Jaguars in the first round of the playoffs.

If Pats lose tonight, we win out, and then Pats lose to Fins, do we get division?

No, they have to lose their remaining four games and we have to win our remaining three. Its close on the tiebreaker with what you are suggesting, but they have the tiebreaker.

No, in the event of a tie, the NFL invokes the "Patriots Rule" that gives them two extra bonus wins. And fucks with our headsets.

If we lost 3 close games to the Cowboys, NE, and Buffalo and finish 8-8 can we still get it? Or does that only apply to the NFCE? lol

    Yep

We have to BEAT AFC teams going forward ie NE and Buff.....we beat them 2 I can say we can take on all AFC comers.

Dallas is an NFC struggler and a L there hurts the least
