This dude. Like he couldn't have tossed some shade at Jenkins by going out and buying something for everybody on the team. Ya know, everybody except Jenkins that is. I mean that is how it's supposed to be done in middle school right? Ohhh, It's the NFL and everybody is supposed to be an adult. You make 750K and Jenkins is slated to make a cool mil with considerably more in the bank. Seriously, what the fuck you doin guys???!!???"
"Dad, how will I know when the Jets have arrived?" "Son, you'll know the Jets have arrived when TGG no longer considers bringing in every scrub cut in the NFL" "Thanks dad. Do you think I'll be alive to see it?" "No son"
If he shows that much promise and was cut, then he has obviously been a continual problem for the Giants, or he violated some big rule. More than likely, but depending upon his track record with the Giants, and whether he is sincerely sorry for his screwups, I probably wouldn't want Mac to even consider signing him. The last thing the Jets and Bowles needs is another problem child, a locker room cancer, or someone who will serve as a distraction. It would also re-create the circus atmosphere. No thanks.
Maybe to you, but some of us want better for the Jets. We don't need the distraction, another headache for Bowles, or to bring the circus back to the Jets. Chances are, I wouldn't take this kid if he paid the Jets.
Maybe you're sure, but your opinion doesn't matter. Marshall's does. I'm sure he cares about players taking cheap shots at him and trying to hurt him. Some of you have zero class and would sell your soul to win. SMH You deserve to follow the Rich Kotite Jets your whole lives.
Evidently, both Jenkins and Moore are lowlife dumbasses. Jenkins for being a selfish asshole and taking multiple pairs causing some of his teammates not to get them, and Moore for being stupid enough to fight Jenkins over it, when he could easily go out and buy a bunch himself.
And I'm sure that one of the sole driving motivations of Marshall's is to win. Damontre probably wouldn't be a huge difference maker - but if he can contribute in any fashion to a win I'm sure most if not all of our team would be on board. Let's be real here - these aren't boy scouts that are playing every Sunday. This certainly isn't the 1st fist fight in a locker room. I would be willing to wager that it isn't even over the stupidest thing. And it certainly won't be the last. This is a talent based league. If anyone wants to pass on even evaluating potential FA's over something like this that is their prerogative. I personally think it's foolish to pass on potential contributors. Especially when the risk/reward factors are so favorable.
With 1/4 of the season left he just lost $146,250. Had he bought himself a pair for every day of the week, instead of fighting over one pair, he would still have made another $144,150. That's a special kind of stupid.
Jets have a good thing going in the clubhouse right now. They just cut Coples partly due to concerns about his attitude. I think you pass on the Giant's problem and let somebody else deal with it.
