What a wild ending to this. The penalties by the Jets, the killer 3rd downs by the Giants on that long drive that led to Coughlin going for the killer blow and they failed. Fitzpatrick was fantastic. Bilal Powell, who I'm not a big fan of, was superb. Marshall and Decker is a great duo. And now it's in the Jets hands to make the playoffs!
and for the record, anyone else annoyed by JPP clubbing Giocomini in the head all game??? How is that allowed? If he can't play with the wrap without using it as a weapon, he shouldn't play
Hey!!!!! How dare you criticize the League?! Everyone knows they are VERY concerned for players' safety, especially re concussions!
JPP has 4 fingers. If he's not walking around with a cast all day off the field then he shouldn't be allowed to use that club during a game. Sorry, but that's the biggest club cast I've ever seen anybody wear and he can legit concuss guys with it.
Yea, what the hell? I understand people allowed to wear clubs if they have broken bones than can be further damaged or cuts that can get infected. But he's fully healthy, with 4 fingers. Why is he allowed to wear that thing? What's stopping us from giving Wilkerson one if JPP can have one while fully healthy? Put a modified glove on.
idk, they are as steady as it gets. above average game manager who wont beat himself. good oline, good run game, good coach, good pas rush, veterans all over. they wont blow to bad teams. i see them winning 11, and i think pitt will win 10 or 11. we HAVE to at LEAST go 3-1, and probably run the table to get in texas loss was huge, bills as well
they just smacked okland. baltimoreis terrible and pl;aying with matt schaub at qb.. chargers awful as well. they go 3-1 at worst
had a chance to re-watch game.......and enjoyed it all over again. tremendous late drives by our offense. very impressive to watch w/o my heart racing out of my chest. most satisfying regular season win in quite some time. regardless of what happens the rest of the way, moments like this game is what it's all about for me. that's why i watch..
http://www.newsday.com/sports/footb...franc-injury-might-be-placed-on-ir-1.11203554 This is terrible. Catapano might be headed to IR.
This is why we can't have nice things. I really loved that formation with him and Mauldin outside coming off the edge...and now we're back to Pace again unless Bowles gives one of those other young pass rushers a shot. Hate this injury.
Its awful. After watching him play, the more I read about him - the more I liked him. 1 of those undrafted discreet pickups after the guy plays his ass off on the practice squad & the team makes note. This gets me even more impressed about both our GM in finding him & our coach in putting him on the field in a scheme that he played well (granted only 2 games). Catapano had great pro-day results prior to the 2013 draft ---- 4.75 40 ---- 37.5 vertical ---- 33 bench press ---- all at 6-4 271. Princeton degree cant hurt either when the guy is looking at film & knowing situational football. It doesnt look good for 2015, but I hope he's on our roster next year.
He's also a local guy and a big Jets fan so I'm sure this is a bummer for him as well. Really hope he's back again next year, he looks like one of those late round / FA gems.
Amazingly, all I've heard from the NY Media is how the Giants LOST this game. Hardly a paragraph about how the Jets WON this game... Typical shit treatment..
It it's truly a Lisfranc injury as I read in an article, he may not be back at all, or it would be next season at the earliest.
