Colon shouldn't be allowed on the sidelines after getting a penalty for talking smack to Rodgers-Cromartie. Seriously who gets a penalty on the IR just stupid. In the wrong situation it could have cost us the game. STFU Colon
The penalty got me heated too. Bowles should of made his ass go back to the locker room. There's absolutely no need for that kind of BS
Love the fire and guys willing to support the team on the sidelines when they could be home playing Madden, but geeez Willie!
I was heated for a couple seconds but I just started laughing when I realized the ridiculousness of a guy who has become infamous for his penalties drawing a penalty from injured reserve.
I was incensed and if I was Bowles I would have immediately banished him to the locker room. Oops shouldn't have written that, some jerkoff is going to use that as further fake evidence that Bowles has lost the locker room. _
I don't know, after the initial shock of what happened, for some reason, I didn't mind it. Did he get the flag because he was talking trash in general = "You stink Sir!" or did the ref hear what he said - and it was the content of what he said that got the flag = "Your mothers a cunt" When they showed the replay, it didn't look like he got physical or right in his face.
Flagging Colon alone there makes no sense, both DRC and Colon were approaching each other and bad mouthing one another. You either flag em both or swallow the whistle.
If he said enough such that a ref threw a flag on him then he's a fucking idiot. Worse than Sheldon calling a TO last year. At least he was trying to help out as stupid as he was. This jerkoff was mouthing off and he wasn't even playing. I would have cut him in the spot. He's useless to us now and he's costing us yardage. Fuck him. _
Yeah, in 25+ years of watching NFL football, I'm struggling to remember another example of that flag pulled. And when they showed Colon and DRC get "into it" not much happened......
I don't care what DRC said or didn't say. Colon should have stuffed a rag in his own mouth. It's incomprehensible. _
I think there was an edict last year about excessive profanity and vile language, IIRC; he probably said something like that.
I do recall something being mentioned at the beginning of last year about foul language, but I thought that was what was directed to refs from players/coaches, not player to player........
