Still think it's the best win of my lifetime. Why? The Pats game in 2010-11 was great. I will forever be in debt to Rex for those two playoff runs. This however was just fantastic. I hate the Giants more than any other team (arrogant fan base) and what happened today may have finally put a nail Tom and Jerrys coffin effectively ending their tenure. Just like what they did us 4 years ago today we altered the direction of their franchise.
Dude TLDR But right off the bat assuming you're young PLAYOFF road win against Pats* That has to be above this
how old are you? In the last 20 years we have had 3 runs to the AFC championship. Gotta be better than yesterday. Giants handed the game to the Jets yesterday.
So the greatest Jet win in your lifetime has nothing to do with the accomplishments of the Jets but everything to do with how it might have effected the Giants? That is some seriously shitty inferiority complex shit. That is pathetic. _
Yeaaaa the reasoning behind geno's post is questionable haha. Yesterday is the biggest win for sure for this team since the playoff run years under Rex. I was really nervous after the Harris return ala Cruz' 99-yarder. But that bonehead non-FGA by Coughlin and our offense getting it done late, we finally had a successful comeback! When was our last one, seriously... I can't remember.
Wow U must be a real, real youmgie it was Dec 1968 when we can back against Oak in Shea Stadium & beat them to send us to SB3
The entire Giants organization despises...I mean despises the Jets. This definitely isnt the best win but definitely one of the more satisfying ones. Pat Hanlon and the Manning's can go F themselves for all I care. Now lets hope for some Mara vs Tisch drama to really get things going.
What's most annoying is they try to cover for it by appearing to be lordly and supposedly unaffected and indifferent to the Jets...but they hate us with the burning passion of 1000 suns and can't stand that the stadium is no longer "Giants Stadium" Super Bowl 3 annoyed Beef Wellingto Mara for a long time and he was an anti-merger stalwart. He never wanted the Jets in the NFL.
The Giants view the Jets game as a mini Super Bowl...always have. It's why we had to finally win this one. I see where the OP is coming from. The hatred the Giants have for the Jets made this a must win, imo.
Mine by far was being at the New England for that playoff victory. Unfortunately, that might be my superbowl. Other notable wins were the Pennington Colts playoff win, Vinny 1998 home win against the Jags, and the Sanchez home game against the TExans when he rallied back in like 2010/ 2011. (all games I was fortunate enough to have attended) The Giants game is satisfying on Monday. But I'll forget about it by tomorrow, will brain power directed towards Tennessee.
As if we needed any proof, the Giants bring out Taylor & O'Hara to dump on the Jets, then Tisch issues his ultimatum
Really pathetic and classless for an organization that prides itself on a myth of classiness. Taylor, naturally, was not called out for his previous disgusting transgressions by the NY Media. Did we hear a peep from the Jets leading up to this game? NO. In fact Bowles benched his best defensive player for a quarter because he was late for a meeting. That's what I call accountability. That's how you run a franchise. Not by doing hurdles into the endzone, not by kicking dropped passes leading to delay of games
These points are well-made. Its almost a turn around from 2011 with antics from guys like Holmes and the Jets putting curtains on the Giants murals.
This doesn't rank in my top 5 but it's the gutsiest win since 2010 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
where you born yestarday? its not in the top 20. comeback vs. the giants in week 13 is better then winnning on the road in new englad in the playoffs?
