Holy smokes. If the season ended right now do you know where we would go in the first round?

    New England.

I'm not signing for anything about that. At New England then at Cincy or Denver if you win? I want to get NE round 2 or 3. Gimme at Indy.

Agreed. I want to get in, but I'll take the very winnable game if it's an option.

I would like that as well, but we are still far from a lock to make the playoffs. I really want to be in this year. It's been a very long 4 years. I would sign for any playoff game right now.

edit: Also, I think KC is very likely to get the 5th seed, so I don't see us going to IND (or HOU) in the first round, anyway.

Week to week root for thread. For week 14 the choices IMO are clear. Jets win above all then:
1- Root for the Eagles to beat the Bills
2- Root for the Bengals to beat the Steelers
3- The Chargers to upset the Chiefs
4- The Pats to beat the Texans
Raiders beating the Broncos as a bonus
    What am I missing?

Just fucking win 3/4 and we're in.

In other words: don't lose to the fucking Titans or Cowboys you jackasses. This will really tell if Bowles is ready for prime time.

That will really tell if the team is ready for prime time, Bowles is not out in the field playing anymore. He is making some mistakes, but not enough to alter the outcome of the game. Players are making mistakes on their own.

KC's remaining schedule couldn't be easier, and they're already 6-2 in the conference. They would have to have some kind of crippling meltdown to miss out on a spot.

Pittsburgh is the other most likely contender, but they've got the Colts tonight, @Cincy, and then home against the Broncos. They could easily drop one of those games.

The Bills have a real shot if either we,or Pit, completely fall apart, but they're @Phillly and @Washington the next couple weeks, which should be tough games with those two teams competing for their division.

It's gonna be an exciting final quarter of the season.

I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if they did.

This is why a few weeks ago I wanted Buffalo to beat NE. I wasn't ready to concede the AFCE. Here's to NE losing out this season!!!! (and Jets winning out!!!!)

We need the Colts to take care of buisness right now and leave with a W over the Steelers.Who has the tie breaker if the Steelers win and are 7-5?

We would because Pittsburgh would be 4-4 in conference and we'd be 5-4.

You do realize that just means they played one less conference game so we don't have the tie breaker in conference games with both teams at 4 losses

Steelers will win tie breaker against us based on common games if we both win out. All bec we lost to the ***ing Raiders and they beat them. Chiefs and Steelers go 11-5 we are out of the playoffs no matter what.
