Hernandez is almost yesterday's news. After this blows over the next time we hear about him will probably be when his appeal is denied. After that it's years of anonymity for him. it's the fate of many gang guys who end up spending most of their lives in prison. If somebody fucks with him in prison he might just kill them too. This is the lifestyle he deserves.
Who knows maybe in a few years we'll see Hernandez in an episode of Lockup Raw. I'm sure at that time he'll be a lot crazier than he is now.
I doubt he ever bothers to appeal this. Whatever money he has left will go to defending himself in the next murder case.
I'm not sure but I heard that in Mass it's an automatic appeal. But experts feel he has no case because you can't appeal the verdict (if you don't agree with it) you can only appeal procedure and whether or not you got a fair trial. Most of the experts said the judge went out of her way to make sure of that: she did not allow some substantial information against Hernandez admitted as evidence.
It's a very sad story. btw the Tebow family is praying for him. Tim considered himself a friend of Aaron's at FLA. I wonder if he's visited or had communication with Hernandez. I had read things about Tim trying to help him out in college and stopping incidents before they started with AH.
I thought they even roomed together so Tebow could maybe rub off on him. For all the negativity Tebow got as a football player he really was a good guy and I felt bad that his career turned out like it did. Granted maybe he should have been willing to change positions but I rooted for him because he was a good dude.
Herndandez lawyer: Anonymous caller questioned truthfulness of juror http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/13084205/lawyer-aaron-hernandez-juror-untruthful FALL RIVER, Mass. -- A lawyer for Aaron Hernandez says he's concerned that one of the jurors who convicted the former New England Patriots player of murder may have been "untruthful" during jury selection. In redacted court documents released Monday, lawyer James Sultan says an anonymous tipster first called him April 16, a day after the 12-person jury convicted Hernandez of first-degree murder in the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd in North Attleborough. Hernandez was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The names of the juror and the caller are redacted throughout the documents, as are details of what the caller said and what was said during the jury selection process before the trial. In the papers, Sultan told the judge the female tipster would not give him her last name and called him several times from a blocked number. During those conversations, one lasting as long as 25 minutes, Sultan said she told him that she recognized the juror from TV and that the juror had been present for a discussion about a Boston double murder case that Hernandez is also charged in. Mention of those killings was barred at trial. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty. He also said the anonymous caller told him that she heard someone else say the juror had wanted to be seated on the Hernandez panel. "She told me she does not want [redacted] into trouble, but it is on her conscience that she knows some information which may be important," Sultan wrote. Sultan says if the juror had disclosed knowing about the Boston case during jury selection or had shown an interest in being on the jury, Hernandez's defense team would have asked that the juror be excused. One juror was dismissed during the trial after the judge said evidence emerged that she had previously discussed the case and had an early interest in being seated on the panel. He asked the judge to authorize a subpoena to trace the calls. The papers were originally filed under seal. Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh on Monday decided to release the filings but partially redacted them to protect the identity of the juror. GateHouse Media, which publishes The Providence Journal and The Herald News of Fall River, had asked last week in court that the documents be unsealed and that the media be given immediate access.

Aaron Hernandez Reportedly Found with Homemade Knife in Prison Cell Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has reportedly caused more problems after a shank was found in his prison cell. According to Cheryl Fiandaca of WHDH-TV NBC 7 in Boston, guards at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center discovered the homemade knife "during a shakedown of his prison block" Thursday. He has been moved to a segregated unit as a result. "The segregated unit is a separate area of the prison where prisoners who are in protective custody or who are a concern to the general population are housed," Fiandaca wrote. Fiandaca added it is unclear how long Hernandez will remain in the segregated unit of the prison. Hernandez has been involved in prison fights since his conviction. In August, WCVB-5 in Boston (via Fox Sports) reported he was part of a third altercation, with the first two occurring in February 2014 and May 2015. The 26-year-old Hernandez, who has already been convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd, is awaiting a trial on double-murder charges that is scheduled to begin Jan. 19, according to the Associated Press (via the Boston Herald). The Patriots released Hernandez in June 2013 after he was arrested by Massachusetts police. Hernandez was the Patriots' fourth-round draft pick in 2010. He played in 38 regular-season games over three seasons with the team. He also played in Super Bowl XLVI against the New York Giants in February 2012. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...edly-found-with-homemade-knife-in-prison-cell
that dude should be locked in his cell 23 hours a day. by himself in a larger cell for an hour and never allowed to see daylight. he is a menace. and I think that doing that, which they do, is completely inhumane but I think it fits for him.
Dude's gonna off himself at some point. He still has to endure another trial for the double murder in Bahhston. To think, Kraft gave this asshole millions
