About KISS: they were a face paint, Long Island gimmick group whose 'catalog' was meh and whose "Guido quotion" was high even for a faux metal band. They were like the big brother to another we're-mostly-in-it-for-da-money outfit, Twisted Sister, whose frontman Dee Snyder was yet another pop-ster strutting around in "rock clothing." "We're Not Gonna Take It" (just like KISS' "Shout It Out Loud") is cheerleader pom pom-shaking, pep-rally schlock rock at it's worst….and to think T.S. lived off that one song. About the "Guido quotion" (maybe you'll get it this time, but probably not): that is not a perjortive term directed towards Italians. It has more to do with the 'schmaltz' factor: cheesy, cloyingly formulated product verus an artist who taps into the core of rock, i.e. young people writing and singing about alienation, hopes, dreams, love, etc. and expressing themselves like they MEAN it ….. versus the schmaltzy Jon Bon Guidos and Steve Perry 'Journeys' of the commercial rock world and their teminally unhip lounge lizard-singer sensibilities <----THOSE are the 'Guidos' …..and again they come in all different shapes and sizes. And in your amusing little rant you ignored that 'sound' factor (in addition to the poseur presentation). And this has nothing to do with any made up terms or failed attempts at humor - this is more about you trying to going the troll route again (and in this case a tin-earred one at that) so any more discussion from this end would be time wasted.
