    I was expecting either Taylor Swift or Miley Cyrus..so I cant be too disappointed at Coldplay. They have some decent songs but none that really fit a SB halftime show.

    How is it that ACDC , Bon Jovi or Metallica cant get this gig? Even Aerosmith or the Stones , Who or Springsteen again would be better.

    I'm a bit shocked it hasn't moved more towards a rap/hip hop movement. The NFL tries to sell the shirts off their executives backs one would think a Big Sean or Drake would have a much bigger appeal to the majority of the country than rock bands especially ones as shitty as Coldplay.

    Even Fallout Boy or Imagine Dragons. When's the last time Coldplay has made it onto the radio? 2012?

    Might as well have booked Creed or Nickel back while we're at it.

    went to 10 straight SuperBowls. Halftime my brothers and I immediately got up and went out for a beer and to bullshit, stretch our legs. Even now, I leave the room at halftime a get food and beverage. It is a non-event to my family.

    I would rather watch the corpses of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and BB King decompose on stage than watch Coldplay.
