I love that they've brought that drop back out. Don hid that in the corner for a few years after the underage prostitute dealeo.

Interesting how LT's legal issues were hushed up for the most part but Francesa totally went ballistic over Braylon Edwards DUI. Not that a DUI isn't terrible, but Giants misbehavior never got as blown up as Jets did.

You can tell that fat fuck loves poking at the Jets fan. You can hear it in his voice. He was going on today about how the Jets were the little brother. Kept emphasizing on that. Even brought it up during his interview with Decker. I just laughed it off though because he was clearly trolling

I can't wait for his retirement so Joe and Evan can take his spot

he does that to get jets fans to call in and argue with him. its part of his game. and it works really well because jets fans continue to call in and try to tell him why he is wrong, at which point he yells and screams like a 4 year old and drops their call.

brooklyn he called you a fraud, its not like he called you a kurd

I figured with Rex and Idzik gone it would change but it has not and now I get what it is. ESPN is the Jets radio station and WFAN's main competitor and they get first dibs on all things Jets. He's pissed that he the King of NY sports does not come first. Maybe he should treat the Giants as well as ESPN NY does the Jets instead of worrying about his competitor

I think it's changed a lot, actually. He championed Bowles before the Jets hired him. His attitude towards the Jets is significantly different that it been in past years.

I still think Francesa's rant against Idzik last year, following that disastrous press conference, is the funniest bit he's ever done. Absolutely epic.

For me the question is simply this...Does anyone really give two shits what he thinks? These people simply go away once ignored.
There is something to be said about classless people in NY, and invariably it starts with the media, sensationalistic bottom feeders, looking for a low life angle.
Look at the definition of the word classless in a NY dictionary and you might find: media hacks, like Metha, Francesa, fill in the blanks.

All we need to do is win and they go away.

It's not just a schtick, it bleeded into his work too like when he got Revis to hang up on him or the Jets to tell him to go scratch with interviews in general.

The older players did not stand for his nonsense, I remember Jason Williams, center for the NJ nets was being interviewed by Mike.

Mike started digging at his inability to hit free throws and instead of hanging up, he started exchanging digs, even went on to ask Mike, " if he still irons his pants in the drive way because he didn't have ironing boards that were wide enough"

I almost crashed my car it caught me so off guard and I was laughing hysterically.

Now the players would just rather not be bothered.

You realize Fatso probably thought he got the last laugh when Williams shot his chauffeur.

Imagine how different this show would be going if this was Rex and the Jets that played it the way Coughlin did yesterday. Comical.

He's shouting down everyone who is calling up killing Coughlin.

    He's such a blowhard.

Indefensible. Sorry. But Francesa's bias and adoration for Coughlin is clouding his judgement. There is no way you forego the field goal there and deny yourself the chance to go up two touchdowns.

As it stands if Miles wasn't dragged down by the offensive tackle he takes it back 99 yards and scores. That could've been much worse for them.
