He seems like a mystery, they had a baby shower for the guy because he just had a child. Also seems the place was not a great place to work.
Um...It is true. God ain't fixing this horseshit. So many mass shootings. Any moron who wants to end their own life or go suicide by cop can get a gun these days and then go shoot up innocent folks just minding their own business. There's nothing that can be done to stop it.
There's a better chance of Nebraska launching into space and becoming the first Mars Colony. I'm rooting for the death of NYDN but it would be great if the other one happened.
You would think with all the praying people did after 9/11, these shootings/attacks/etc would've been finished up around 2004 or so. Crazy how that hasnt happened yet.
Where were all the good guys with guns? Oh right, they had no way of reacting to a situation that is akin to a war zone. Obama made a good point; there are people that are on no-fly lists in this country yet thanks to the ingenious 2nd amendment can still legally purchase firearms and tactical equipment like these two lunatics we saw yesterday. Obviously they weren't on a no-fly list, but the point still stands. Israel goes through this shit every day and has found alternatives to reduce the risks rather than arming every guy that can go post like a moron on an internet message board.
Gun lovers are ruining this country. They refuse to acknowledge the logic of terrorists, foreign and domestic, using assymetrical tactics today means they exercise their "second amendment rights" to destroy innocent people. It makes no sense that people who can be banned going on airplanes can go into a gun shop and buy guns that have no legitimate purpose such as hunting deer, but only are useful in killing large numbers of people. It's already too late, there are like 300 million guns in this country. The future looks bleak.
Prior military should be able to own a high powered rifle. I am prior military, I don't really have my own need for a high powered rifle; but if a prior service member wants to own one... Be my guest. There doesn't seem to be a real practical use for high powered rifles in the civilian world, but I think if you served USA military service you should be allowed to own one if you want. You get the training and trust of the United States once you complete your service; you should be able to take one home with you if you want. Honorable discharge required, all others need not apply. And que the weapons suppliers up in arms about their sales numbers going down $$$$ I'm way more concerned about the pipe bombs. How and why are people getting their hands on bombs?
your talk about prior military is odd because you flip from rifles to machine guns...? there is a huge difference there in the type of weapons you are talking about.... and people aren't "getting their hands" on pipe bombs in the traditional sense, they are making them at home after a trip to the Home Depot... as for why? in this instance we don't completely know the motive yet but every scenario is unique and I wish people would remember that, our government included.
